I just had to share my frustration here. WHO THE HELL thought it would build up hype if you give streamers early access so they can ruin each and every surprise Day 1 used to hold for us? The first few days of new expansions were always the best where you see all kinds of decks and where win/lose doesn't matter because you are having FUN.
We all know that the first 2 threads on Hearthpwn on day 1 will be "DH is freaking annoying" and "I hate this expansion already".
That being said, I am still hyped because of the new class, priest updates etc ... But they had the opportunity to make this the best, most-hyped for expansion since Whispers of the Old Gods, and they f*cking ruined it.
The PR strategy started with Witchwood or Mean Streets (I cant remember). Clearly it yielded increased sales so they will keep doing it, even if it hurts day 1 homebrew.
I also dislike it, sadly I don't believe they (the HS-team) will ever stop giving out these advantages to streamers.
all we pleb folks can do is to try our best to remain unspoilt, which can certainly be a challenge...
Is it fair? No, it isn't. Is it completely nonsensical? No, considering that many of these have spent a lot of their time keeping people interested in the game (and making money out of it ofc) it can be seen as logical for the HS-team to feel like they have to do something back for them.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
After doing my research I found out that the pink 'stuff' that appeared onto hearthstone cards must, in fact, have been coronavirus. It has through hearthstone spread across the globe and infected all computers. And because too few people played hearthstone with plastic gloves on they got infected through their computer. Thus coronavirus is Hearthstone's fault and I expect a total of 3 packs from each expansion to be given to all coronavirus victims.
I also dislike it so I just don't watch their streams during prerelease event and Fireside Gatherigs either. Also on the team that likes suprises and knowing nothing day 1 about anything. I can only advise people who share my view of point is not to watch those kind of streams and Youtube videos when they arrive.
I'm expecting to see a ton of people copying Firebat's Highlander DH on day 1.
I saw the title on Youtube that he made that, but just for the sake of not spoiling the fun for me and ignorance of the new stuff on day 1 I'm not watching that video and many others from other streamers as well.

This is the only truth.
jk ofc.
even when i understand why blizzard does this, i think they did it way early this time.

Get ready for another stale meta full of braindead cancer.
Get ready for another mass herd of sheep copying the decks those streamers play.
Get ready for people like you to complain yet again, like every expansion.
Get ready for people like you to keep playing anyways.
I'm expecting to see a ton of people copying Firebat's Highlander DH on day 1.
C'est La Vie. Shit happens every release.

2 weeks! in advance 'they' get early access and most of 'them' hardly play HS nowadays...
If you don't watch the streams you will be like 0-1 behind on release day playing against already streamlined (read; netdecks) decks...
It’s a dumb strategy, but hey, it’s from the folks that brought us Diablo Immortal so...
Does it matter ? no one plays ranked anymore you can only see BG in twtich...
Well, they didn't even 'bring' it yet (it has not been released yet)...
