Dr Boom is now 7 mana. Get ready for 40 minute games with Dr Boom again :(
Last I heard control warrior was tier 4. I doubt a buff to boom will add more than 3% winrate. He will get outvalued by many decks at this point, power creep is real.
My version of the deck includes dragons, so it is 50/50 reactive/proactive. I was mostly facing resurrect priests, so it was a walk in the park, I won against all of them. It was more complicated with rogue, however, yet I wouldn't say it's an insta-loss - a lot depends on draws. So I got mixed results with it.

In wild there are very fast decks, dr boom probably wont be able to keep up with them
Lol, me too, even though it “officially” has a low winrate, I managed to climb to rank 3 for the first time thanks to it.
First game I played today with Control warrior vs control warrior going 40 mins and into fatigue.
depends lots of luck. If you face a lot Rogue, Priest then you winrate will suffer
