So I'm sure there is already a thread out there talking about all this new stuff, but I felt I should try anyway just in case.
Everyone has seen the new cards we are getting in GvG and I for one am beyond pumped. I really wanted to touch on some stuff that I think is either important, or I think people have reacted differently than I expected about.
Warlocks -
Playing a warlock occasionally (all aboard the handlock wagon!) I am excited as hell for demonlock. I am gonna try my damndest to make it work as best as it can. Mal'Ganis plus Floating Watcher, at least in my opinion, is gonna set off this archetype and let it run, even if it may not see competitive play.
Shamans -
Shaman Aquarium seems like a very interesting archetype to me. Everyone is pissed off that their class legendary "sucks" and that murlocs lose if it gets to turn 7 anyway. As soon as I saw it, my first thought was "this is exactly what murlocs needed to be played outside of Warlock." Aqua-lock as well as Zoo-lock runs so well because they can constantly fill their hand with cheap minions each turn. Now someone tell me how getting a 7/7 (almost a giant) PLUS refilling your hand with minions that all synergize with each other is a bad thing? Yes, murlocs struggle past turn 5-6, but that is the point! They can't always kill in that range, and the reason they have to is they run out of steam/cards. This not only provides a large body, but also gives you MORE murlocs. It doesnt take from your deck! If you play your 2 Warleaders, you still have a chance at another one off him. Perfect for Murlocs imo. The drawing murloc also deserves mention, because I feel it is super strong as well.
Hunters -
Right now everyone hates Hunters right? They are worse than Zoo-lock in their raw brutality and efficiency. Everyone is upset that they haven't been nerfed to the ground yet. I think with the new cards, control hunter will be a thing again, which I used to play, and I think it is a really good answer to the zerg type decks (looking at you cancer hunter and zoo-lock), hence why I ran it. The new archetype will shove the cancer hunter to the back burner, or at least I think. While no, it wont get rid of it, it will make it much harder to just bandwagon it and run it to legend.
In summary, these 3 classes are gonna be affected a lot by this expansion (obviously my opinion) and I am ecstatic at the changes.
