"OMG, most DH cards are insanely OP! I can't believe it, this is just crazy!" :O
Nah, not really. That's just Blizzard being Blizzard... They always do similar stuff and most of us are very used to it. They release some really broken shit to force the majority of their player base to play with it, so after a relative short period of time they "magically" decide to nerf everything that is blatantly OP and force people to buy/craft other stuff.
But c'mon Blizzard, this is getting really old... That's why I ask you, my dear hearthpwners, not to play with this new brainless class and instead try to counter it with the most optimal deck possible. We need to find the best solution together (for example, here: https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/240995-lets-start-sharing-some-ideas-to-counter) and show Blizzard this game is ours, not theirs. We are the ones who made Hearthstone huge and popular, not them. Because the truth is that we are not going to stop playing this goddamn game (that's why I'm not asking you to not pre-order or things like that), but at least we are the ones who should decided how to do it and not Team 5!
Do not hesitate and join La Résistance, ladies and gentlemen. Demon Hunters and Blizzard must be stopped at all cost!
Are you finally going to do it or not? Yes or no? Because there is no other choice! You are loyal to La Résistance or just a traitor, there is no middle ground here! :P
Note: If some of you are wondering and asking themselves why the hell I'm still here playing this shitty game called Hearthstone, well it's because to be honest, for me, there aren't many good games out there, and Hearthstone is probably the best of the worst (I also play MtG, which is a much better card game, but physically and only on weekends, hehe :P).
Demon Hunter doesn't affect BGs, and presumably it's impact on Arena will be limited so doesn't change things too much for me. But I feel for you constructed players looking at these new cards....they ARE going to kill you turn 8 or 9, even with the worst mulligans and draws.
Most of my constructed play these days I'm just playing meme level stuff in wild at around rank 15, I think that'll remain fun probably until the game dies. I'd advise you kinda follow your own point and just do similar for athe first month or so, then the inevitable nerfs will land.
Blizzard do take precisely this approach with launching new content - it used to wind me up no end when was playing HoTS - new character launches and it creams the entire battlefield for weeks before the nerfs come in, and they absolutely knew they were launching busted characters...every single time.
Enjoy the first 2 weeks until mostly everybody play the same deck, then play wild other 2 weeks, then play battleground other 2 weeks, than wait for the new expansion or the little trick and track they do at the middle of the season. (bunch of totally new random cards)
this is hearthstone, don't expect more. And don't get mad, it's free if you want ;)
You don't like it? don't play it! you still have Arena... The game is literally theirs, they fund it, they develope it, and they can do whatever they want with it. Don't like it? make your own game then, see what happens then (insert any Reyands meme here KEKW).
Well, actually, I'm not even a fan of Britney. But I liked the original marginally better.
And the song is not even French. How can you expect me to join a movement that goes by a French name without a song in that language?! Have you heard of the singer Shy'm? She is very pretty, and nice to listen to. Same goes for Jenifer. You even had a better chance winning me over if you went with Daft Punk. Or perhaps Culture Beat. Or Capella. Or 2 Unlimited. Those are not French groups, but they all made some music called Eurodance, which is named after the continent of Europe, where France is located.
No way I'm gonna join some resistance under these circumstances!
I mean, I was not even planning on playing Demon Hunter all that much anyway, because mirror matches are boring. But you picked the wrong song, pal!!

I already started developing one, bro, a futuristic card game were skill actually matters (well, at least much more than in Hearhtstone XD), and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it! :) Only real problem is the art, even very few cards require a lot of work in that department. :(

I don't care about Britney Spears, my friend, neither about this Joe Stain guy. I just wanted something that fits Blizzard's usual behaviour for the name of this thread and the first thing that came to my mind was that shitty song (and yeah, I thought it was just ok).
Daft Punk? Culture Beat? Capella? 2 Unlimited? Are you serious, dude? Why do people here have such terrible tastes in music? :/ Through many years, I have seen a lot of people laughing at Forsen on the forums just because of that. Well my dear hearthpwners, you guys are not much different to be honest... :(

I'm already sick to death of aggro and tempo decks on ladder, so I don't think Demon Hunter is going to change anything. If the new class is OP (which I'm still not convined about) then it'll get nerfed quickly anyway. I just hope they nerf Embiggen Druid at the same time.
Most people see DH broken, I personally don't feel that way. Big minions hasn't been around for years. Most of the time we see cards with 5 or less mana in slow decks, unless they are either combo pieces, cheatable cost (with luna),or really high impact cards (dragonqueen for instance). If Blizzard tries to push high cost minions out, of course they want it to be impactful. So here we are. Ofc judging by the fact, they are a little overpowered, but overpowered doesn't mean it's broken. They tried to experiment cards' theme, how does it work, its impact to the meta, etc. Even after all that, a little overpowered defines meta and stuff like that. If it's completely broken I'm sure that they will nerf it.
OP, what Blizzard is doing is perfectly normal. You see, if every expansion had the same power level and each class had 3 decks to choose from, that would probably be Utopia for players. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be good for business because that way, players won't bother to pre-order the future expansions. Why should I sell my soul and get my hands on the new content if I can farm the new cards with my old deck?
See? That's why powercreep is esential in expansions. If you can accept this, then let me give you a warm welcome to the real world. If not, then I'm sorry but that's strictly your problem.

Jesus, this people... I don't need your boring explanation about powercreep, my unknown friend, I perfectly know what it is.
What you don't seem to understand is that there is a huge difference between making a lot of cards from different classes more powerful than previous ones and making just a couple of them from only one class or archetype blatantly OP or totally broken. The first case forces sales by maintaining a relative balance in the game, but the second one creates a huge gap between classes and therefore completely unbalancing Hearthstone.

Was it clear or do I need to repeat it?
It's fine. Maybe DH is going to be most broken class in the world. Eh, it's not the first time a class was the most broken and honestly, I doubt the majority will care that much considering the current pandemic we're facing.
I like your spirit OP, but sorry, I'm going to play with the new toys until they bore me. I will help craft an anti-DH if DH is truly dominating. I love to fight against the meta with something out of meta. But I play EVERYTHING pretty much, popular stuff, meme-like stuff, and most of all janky weird stuff of my own concoction.

The answer to all your doubts will always be
Sorry but i wanna have some fun, i'm gonna play the new class day 1 :)
No Britney Spears, no dice.

What? I never suggested something like that, not even close...
No, I'm totally alone right now, as always... -.- Damn, dude, I'm alrady crying in the corner, no one likes me! :(

It would be too late, brother, too late! Be must be prepared!
The new class seems pretty fun
The bastards... >:-(
But... but... Hearthstone is my life! XD

Well, Demon Hunters didn't have years of great cards, but that's my opinion.
