is this one of the worst meta? We have a ladder domined by dragonqueen alexstrasza (9 mana that cheats out about 15+ mana every time), magnetic that is a broken mechanic and infinite hammers from hunters. I'm not salty cause i played this since 2016 but in my opinion there are a lot of bad balanced cards right now.No fun and competitive decks also.
Yeah, nowhere near the most oppressive meta. To each their own, but I respectfully disagree. Even Mysterious Challenger Secret Paladin was more oppressive in my opinion.

Yes! Secret Paladin: another example of a worse meta. Also, odd Paladin/any Genn or Baku decks were worse. Honestly, if two of the "problematic" cards (which I respectfully disagree with) are aggro-oriented (Hammer) and control-oriented (Alex), then that speaks to the diversity of this meta. I will say that getting rushed down by Hunter is not particularly fun, but it never has been and never will be. This meta is maybe one of the best we've ever had.
This meta is nowhere near the era of Aggro Shamans, Undertaker Hunters and Pirate Warriors or even Secret Paladin even though I've never really complaint about the last one.
Every meta is a one of the worst meta, especially if we are close to expansion/rotation
What is the sign of bad meta? For me when games are decided by 1-2 cards or people have infinite resources. Like death knights, like dr boom, mad genius, tunnel trogg, small time buccanier, keleseth, jades ect.
Right now Galakrond is a problem, I mean rogue and a to lesser extend warrior, but overall is ok. Hammer is annoying, but could be worst. Alex is ok, it is powerhouse but not game breaking. Once is dead is dead. Zephrys the same. Ysera, unleashed and mass resurect are annoying too, but you can drive those decks out of resources. Box and galaxy are probably the biggest problem.
I would say it is one of the better expansion. Not the best, but one of the better one in terms of power.
Every class has a deck that is at least some what competetive atm AND there is viable control, aggro, midrange and combo decks, so in my book far from a bad meta. It's not the best but far from the worst.
I'm having a lot of fun these days in the game, more so recently that a few weeks ago. I'm excited to see how things will change with the rotation. I'm going to be sad to loose my argumented elk.
Only Roque is truely a cancer in the ass, since they remain almost unscratched from HoF changes, Yes Leeroy is leaving but dumping out a board of 8-8, 6-6, 5-5, 1-4 and bunch of 1-1 lackeys for the complete Mana cost of 0000000000 is disturbing and seriously has to be addressed.
It will be interesting to see how much variation will be in the decks today on the Masters Tour Los Angeles. It will provide an indication of how many decks are viable in the current meta. Need to look to Pro players for an indication of how good decks are in any current meta as they are playing them more optimally than most people that post here. Often you see the same one or two decks banned and the same 4 decks in any lineup from most of the players that's a sign that the meta is stale and a few decks are by far the best. I think currently the variation of decks is very strong and there are a lot of good viable decks to ladder with. To me bad metas are where the win variance is huge between decks i.e. freeze mage vs control warrior type match-ups and I don't there are too many unwinnable match-ups in the current meta
Dragonqueen? I don't see a Dragonqueen in a bazillion games, even against Mage, who uses it the most, as Highlander Rogue is more rare and don't even really need it.
The cards I see almost non-stop are Galakrond the Nightmare, Togwaggle (always Wand), Leeroy, Shadowstep, Stormhammer, Rotnest Drake, Embiggen and Strength in Numbers. Mage, Priest and Warrior appear like once after playing 3-4 games against the trio above.

Not even close to Pirate Warrior or Afro Shaman metas. This meta is awesome!

Nice job, Blizz!

Nice first post.
No, this isn't the worst meta ever. As you were.
Let me talk about starving buzzard hahahaha

Just stop complaining.

Heistbaron Togwaggle and Shadowstep HAVE to see nerfs.

If you like this meta you're either a huntard or a rogue.
Trash meta.
I got warlock, Druid, rogue and CW decks and they all play great. Not feeling oppressed by any other deck. Don’t know what you’re talking about.
If you play since 2016 you cant say this meta is the worst and bad.
Is the best meta of the history and all ppl say the same..
This is by far the most diverse meta
As I face, face hunter every game.
Keymaster Alabaster come faster
