What does Pit Crocolisk have to do with anything?? I guess you could double battlecry it with Shaman for 10 damage... But, Leeroy with Shadowstep and Eviscerate is 16 damage for the same mana... Or, catch a Galakrond Leeroy, double Inner Rage, and duplicate it with Bloodsworn Mercenary for 28 face damage.
So in conclusion, I plead you to stop jumping on the "hate leeroy" bandwagon. There are far more powerful finishers and far more powerful aggro cards.
I hate to be THAT guy, but I literally just posted a much better Leeroy combo with a class that isn't Rogue... it's in the post just above yours... Even without Galakrond, Warrior does 20 damage with 8 mana...
Today I've lost to the card in every loss I've had vs warrior, rogue and embiggen druid. It's cancer. The HoF is the best thing to ever happend to this game. God bless the devs for yeeting this mistake of a card out of standard for good.
Edwin also dodged the HoF, I know a lot of people were expecting him to be moved there, but oh well.
no one was expecting this
So few people that it was one of the first topics brought up in the Q and A for the expansion... Why would you assume something so dumb? It's literally been on almost every list of possible HoF cards I've seen this year.
Q: Edwin VanCleef is not being Hall of Famed? A: I'm seeing this topic discussed in Twitch chat, in Reddit, on Twitter, etc, so I'll just respond generally here... Let's talk about Edwin VanCleef, and why he isn't going to the Hall of Fame (at least, not yet, anyway). A: Edwin was very much on our shortlist of potential cards to Hall of Fame this year. (Sea Giant was the other close contender). He has been extremely powerful, for a long time. So, why not rotate him? Well, a couple of reasons. A: He's really good, but he's also in a class, not Neutral, and that goes a long way. He's also right up Rogue's alley in terms of class identity. He skews Rogue in general toward playing lots of little cards, but not toward any particular archetype overly strongly. A: Much of his *current* power level is dependent upon the Year of the Dragon cards. This sort of ebb/flow with expansions is good! Not disputing that he's been pretty strong all along, but Year of the Dragon, in particular, has had really strong synergies for him. A: This is definitely a card that we'll continue to reevaluate each year, so I wouldn't be surprised if Edwin VanCleef does make it to the Hall of Fame in the future. But at least for the Year of the Phoenix, we think the Standard game is better with him still there.
Thursday is gonna be the best day in hearthstone ever. FUCK your leeroy braindead shitfuck! Just FUCK YOU! Use ur brain ONE time in ur miserable life and LEARN TO PLAY STRATEGY all you stupid face only idiots that basically turn over the top card of their deck and hope they win. Fucking idiots!
For me game is unplayable becouse of this card. He go fucking away this month or april?
He moves to the Hall of Fame on Thursday March 26th. So next week.
If you see a bad post on the forum use the report function under it, so I or someone else of the moderation team can take care of it!
One that should definitely be Hofed is Malygos, I'm sure it will on the next batch...

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
The meta will be slower once Leeroy is gone, maybe Wolfrider or even Reckless Rocketeer sees play but both are weaker than Leeroy.
Significantly weaker :D
What about pit crocolist ? It's a 5/6 with a built in kill command.

Can Pit Crocolisk combo like that?
I don't understand why people hate Leeroy Jenkins so much :P
Ye, you can combo with him... in ONE CLASS (Rogue)
Fireball does the same amount of burst damage, ignores taunt, costs 1 less mana, and can also be used in combos (see Exodia Mage),
Kor'kron Elite is currently the most overstatted charge minion (until the next expansion, when demon hunter comes out)
Reckless Rocketeer might do 1 less damage and cost 1 more mana, but it doesn't summon two 1/1 whelps
Arcanite Reaper does 10 damage for 5 mana, easily outclassing Leeroy Jenkins as a finisher
So in conclusion, I plead you to stop jumping on the "hate leeroy" bandwagon. There are far more powerful finishers and far more powerful aggro cards.

The only card you didn't mention that wasn't a class card is Reckless Rocketeer.
The others are class cards.
Leeroy is the most oppressive non-class aggro card in the game. It's the most popular finisher.
It also limits design space. Good luck with Reckless Rocketeer.

yes they were. lol, don't know where you've been lately, TyrantrumRex put it perfectly in a comment above.

This is exactly correct. The fact that Leeroy can be used in ANY deck is why it is going to HOF.
