If you already have the cards - do nothing. There is no profit in crafting them gold.
If you don't have the cards - craft them golden. Simple.
The only exception are the commons, where even if you already have 2 copies you can craft golden ones anyway and DE them for 10 extra dust each. So 40 free dust in total.
Not exactly free. If you already have the epics for example, and craft them golden because you want to keep the golden ones, sure you'll be given your 3200 dust you used to craft them back, but you're not getting the 800 for regular copies you otherwise would have. So it will cost you 800 dust. Even if you dust the regular copies afterwards, that's still a 600 dust loss.
I don't understand how don't you profit from it? If you have a regular Leeroy and craft golden one, you will get 3200 dust once they go HoF (so far zero profit) and when you dust the golden one afterwards, you get 1600 dust, no?

If you had only regular Leeroy, you would get 1600 dust free If you had both versions (crafted the golden one) you would get 3200 dust free not 4800 as you only get dust for 1 copy of the card
Essentially if you do nothing you spend 0 and get 1600, if you craft golden then dissenchant golden you spend 3200 and get 3200+1600 (total 1600)

When you have normal Leeroy, and craft golden, you pay 3200. You will get those 3200 back on rotation day, plus you will be able to disenchant your golden copy for 1600 + your regular copy for 400 =2000 Profit.
But if you have regular one, and you do NOTHING, you get same profit, you get 1600 on rotation day, plus you get 400 dust for disenchanting this regular copy = 2000 Profit.
So, for your legendary cards, Blizzard only refunds ONE copy (highest rarity, NOT both copies, so either your regular copy or if you own both, then only your golden copy will be refunded.

Yes this is what I meant. So it is a profit, 1600 dust.

There is no extra profit whatsoever, you either craft golden, get dust back (so basically 0 difference) and then disenchant or you already have them and get the full value in dust, which is exactly the same amount of dust. If you don't have anything just craft because it's free
I understand what you guys are saying. I will save one copy of Leeroy anyway, I don't disenchant cards, but I will make 1600 profit, when I craft golden and then disenchant it. Profit for me
If you craft all golden cards right now, you will make in profit 5700 dust when you disenchant the golden cards after they get sent to HOF.
You will also keep your regular cards
This is only valid for the cards you don't have otherwise there is no profit (just 10 dust per common and nothing for the others)
there is literally no dust advantage or profits gain, when you already own 2 regular copies for the epics and both Leeroy and Velen.
You'll get 2k dust for each legendary and +500 dust for each epic, the only difference may be with Rare's and Common's.
Like others have said. It's not rocket science.

No profit. But its a cheap way to get the golden version of the card if you are a collector and only own regular version.
Unless you want em golden for free. Other than that there is no profit.

Appologies for being slow minded, should I craft golden velen and leeroy or not to get profit? Can someone explain why would it be profitable
Something I can't find the answer to: should we craft the priest cards?

Only the cards being moved to the hall of fame (Not the cards that are being buffed/changed)

Please, bitches. Start learning it xD

No...
This:

Isn't it then still advantageous to craft golden legendary if you have non-gold?
Cost: 3200
Get back: 3200 + 400 from normal
So net 400?
It is this time of the year again, when the threads of all the people who don't get the HoF stuff open...
No... because if you do nothing. You can still disenchant the one you already have for that same 400...
