- Yes you reset to Bronze 10 every season. You do not loose stars in Bronze.
- Win Streak bonus is separate from the Bonus stars (or Bonus multiplier if you prefer).
- You can get up a maximum of 11 Bonus stars depending on the rank you achieved last season. Before, I wrongly thought that it was 8 but i checked and it's 11.
- You win one match you get one star. if it's a win streak you get 2 stars. If you have 5 bonus stars you then get respectively 5 stars, 10 stars for win streaks.
- I am not sure but I assume rewards for ranks are cumulative.

to add to that, you lose 1 bonus star with each rank floor you pass, so that by the time you get to the rank you ended up previous season on you will have 0 bonus stars left
and yes, rewards for ranks are cumulative, as in you collect them while passing rank floors and get all that you've collected at the end of the season
thank you mate for your quick response. i believe i dont need to grind legend this month, if legend rank bonus is only 1 star difference. or is it another quantity?
Yes, it's only one extra bonus star when you reach legend. You get 10 bonus stars once you reach Diamond 5 up to Diamond 1. I also heard that win streak stops at Diamond 5 but I have no solid confirmation about this.

tbf I was specifically looking for this info in any news and there is nothing about winstreaks stopping at any of the ranks, I watched all the videos from blizz and read all the articles and it hasn't been said anywhere, so at this moment I'd assume the winstreak continues all the way to legend
yeah that's why I asked, that's not the source, that's just some streamer saying stuff not
I'm not trying to be annoying or smart or anything, I'm just curious that blizzard hasn't said anything about winstreaks anywhere on their official channels, which kinda makes me assume that winstreaks might continue all the way to legend, they might end at some point though,
tbf wouldnt be surprised if they now ended once you hit the highest rank, in the old system there were 25 stars from 5 to legend, now each rank is 30, so just a little more, we'll find out soon enough I guess
I already posted another thread with more details. Most people simply miss that the new ladder system isn't solving the most major problem of the old one - the bottlenecks.

If you are matched by MMR while climbing, the bottlenecks might be less of a problem. The rank you reach when you are out of multipliers should be pretty close to your skill level.
I am curious if getting to Rank 5 (Diamond 5) will be harder now. It certainly seems like it, even with the bonus stars.
No, it won't be harder. It will just take longer, but we get more rewards so in that aspect it's fine (actually do we have a clear estimate for reaching rank 5 before/after for the mana gain? I've done some basic calcs and it looks like only players getting a low number of card packs would benefit more now since the cards we are to get now are not golden, or are they golden?).
They should have done the whole ranking system based on MMR-only. MMR-decays are perfect for a game like HS with daily quests. The system coming now is far from optimal.
The only advantage of a system like the one coming now compared to one with MMR-decays is that you can instantly be rewarded for your placement. But ironically they are not doing this, so we are just getting a flawed ranking system in all aspects.
source for this please, I haven't seen anyone from Blizzard mention this anywhere
someone please quote/reply once somebody has _official_ confirmation, where the (old) winstreak bonus ends: D10/D5/never. (i dont mean the new bonus stars i mean the old "after 3 wins in a row you get double amount of stars")
basically i want to know if the old "to reach legend from r5 0 you have to win 25 games more than you loose" now translates to: "you have to win 30 more than you loose" or "you have to win 15 more than you loose" or "it's depending on your winstreak, even in the last ranks before legend"

I confirm that, on my winstreak, i didn't not get x2 stars after 5

ok. what happens when i finish this season, for example, at rank 2? Do i get 10 bonus stars because rank 2 is a 5 rank floor?
Yes, I believe you get 10 bonus stars..

Thank my man for the clarification!

OK based on the latest info, we have now more precise details about the ranking system and win steak. Summary:
The minimum star bonus you have at the start of the season is as follows:
- Win streak bonus is available until Diamond 5.

The new ranking system doesn't solve the problems of the old. They better start thinking from now how to update it.
And if you don't realize this you will understand it in 2 days.
kinda curious what do you mean by this?
what is it that we don't realise and you do?

You are matched by MMR only while having a bonus pool. After that the bottlenecks would still exist.
No. There is more grind now. When you get out of multiplier you would be: actual skill level minus 2 ranks.
