i miss him trying to sell us packs and the hype and legendary laugh
but apart from that in terms of evolution of HS battlegrounds etc etc BALANCE AND ACTING ON CHANGE AND QUICKLY HELL NO he's more of the worst road block love the guy but TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BALANCE like EYE ROLLING wtf
and his response " we don't like players to feel bad disenchanting their nerfed cards" so we let them get raped for 4 months without doing any balance ? that's the response go fuck yourself and do your job shit excuse moron
I don't miss him, because the game has improved since he left. Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but that's how I feel.
I don't know if he had anything to do with the management of the game, but after he left, they started to address a lot of the issues that had put the game in a rut.
Some people say Blizzard got worse from Ben Brode's disappearance, or Blizzard got better. But to be honest, I just think that Ben Brode was a smiling face that gave us an experience. Good or bad, we can still agree that Blizzard's improved since his departure. But in my opinion, Blizzard would be in its same state if he were still here. He'd just be there to rally the group up like he always did.
He is a charismatic figure and a qualified developer but no, I dont miss him. Shudderwock, K&K exp., Barnes were problematic things from his era. After him game had another problems but not more then his time.
I definitely miss him as a presence, but I think the direction the game has taken since his departure is undeniably a better one than when he was there.
Hell no. The game is a lot better since his departure. They keep up with the speed of the players with the nerfs, and we have the most balanced meta in Hearthstone since... I don't know. I don't know since when it's possible to rank with 8 from 9 classes. Of course Paladin and Hunter are in the top, but there isn't so much difference between T1 and T2 in percentage, so, with the proper skills, you can rank with any class.
B.Brode was a very cool ambassador of the game. I voted no cuz I'm a tough type and it offends me to miss anyone, but I still think it was a mistake to lose him.
Also Kobolds was awesome other than cubelock. If that crap was hotfixt it wouldve been possibly the best expansion ever.

Kobolds was rubbish and problematic until it rotated.
Indeed. But we have to say, it had some cool decks. Tempo mage was bananas, also cubelock (needed nerfs too). I miss that kind of archetypes. I hope tempo mage resurrects with a good elementals deck. I think that the only key missing is a solid 2 mana elemental, and more draw. Right now you don't have anything in turn 2 other than hero power and that vanilla elemental (unless you use coin of course)

Kobolds allowed too much abuse of deathrattle, and too much mana cheating. I did not find it a pleasant experience playing against call to arms or tempo mage or all the stupid spiteful decks or all the druid decks that abused branching paths, or cubelock, or control warlock, or any Hunter deathrattle deck. A pox on the kobolds era, I say. I preferred genn and Baku to be honest.

Games been much better after him.. so don't miss him...he was cool but he was too slow... So he was not cool.. anyways.
Still missing him.
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664
Ben Brode was nothing but a smiling face for the game, his involvement was highly overrated.
Dead but dreaming
I totally agree.
I can hear him every time i play Lord Jaraxxus
I only miss him because he was fun to watch on dev streams.

I miss his over the top personality. Nobody laughs like Brode.
If he was around, there was gonna be a rap performance each expansion.. he would have a full album recorded by now..
Yeah, a toast!
funny guy, but HS is a better game without him
remember genn and baku ? those were his last abominations
Hearthstone is so much better since he left. Not saying it's because of him, but the willingness by blizz to nerf and buff cards is a Godsend

Goodbye, never come back!
