For the flavor, i think my favorite were Rise of Shadows and Kobolds and Catacombs. I really liked the dungeon-RPG style of KnC, and RoS brought some nostalgic memories with old mechanics as well as some of my favorite cards in the game such as Khadgar, Kalecgos, Arch-Villain Rafaam or Swampqueen Hagatha. Gameplay-wise, I actually really enjoyed Saviors of Uldum, but before the Mage nerf and Doom in the Tomb.
You can easily see new players here. League and nax. League gave us Reno and nax was just the perfect balanced expansion. I’d say black rock is the third one.
Frozen Throne was best time I can remember having with the game. The hero cards were a lot of fun and wern't OP at that point in time and The Lich King was as powerful as a card should be in this game (imo) but still fun to play. I've scrubbed wall druid from my mind though...

Knights of the Frozen Throne. The way they advertised this expansion was just brilliant.
I found the advertisement of said expansion a bit cringe to be honest (except for the trailer, which was great). Sadly, your post made me remember something my unconscious had hidden to me for years for everyones' sake and mine. I'm talking about the worst, most pathetic and cringe Blizzard's advertisement of all time... I'm talking about the "Take this Inside" Live Action Trailer, also known as the "Guac Boy Commercial"!!! :O
Close call between Naxx and Whispers of the Old Gods.
Naxx was special cause it was the first introduction of new cards and it made for a massive change in the meta and the game was gaining so much popularity in those days it was amazing to be a part of.
WotG had it's share of troubles but it was the first time we had a Standard and a Wild and, again, the sudden meta change with all the new decks being tried was amazing to be part of.

Old Gods was my favourite. I loved concept of four gods with their own builds. My favourite ones were C'thun, and of course Yogg. I remember how I enjoyed videos of Yogg plays. I wish that he would be one of unnerfed cards, however I think it's one of less possible changes.
i vote Kobolds and Catacombs, from current standard Rastakhan's Rumble
League Of Explorers... It gave us RENO. ahh the fun i had that time with my RENOLOCK. It Changed the Game IMO.

League of explorers. With Whispers of the Old Gods as runner up.
WotOG had some problems but also a lot of fantastic and fun cards, I still have many a N'zoth deck in wild.
EASY......FROZEN THRONE
the next one

+1 to this.

Frozen throne. Bloodreaver gul'dan alone makes it an amazing expansion by itself.
