So, a friend of mine has just started playing and she's asking if it is better to buy packs or save up to buy the Galakrond's Awakening adventure. She's F2P, has around 500 gold and has bought enough packs from the last 3 expansions to get the guaranteed legendary. So, any advice?
Definitely better to buy packs. There are only a few cards from the adventure in the meta rn and still a good number of strong decks that don't use any cards from it or at least don't need to use the adventure cards to be viable.
The cards in GA are not really build around cards, so I wouldn't buy the adventure if I was brand new and looking to increase my collection.
I'd suggest continuing to buy packs from Year of the Dragon until her collection has expanded a bit.
I'd even buy Classic packs before I'd buy GA tbh, and buying Classic packs is typically not that worthwhile and better left to just Brawl and freebies.

Is your friend hot? Jk. The Galakrond Adventure is largely ignoreable in its impact. There's some cards here and there that are decent but if she is new there is only one priority to spend her resources on.
And that is Classic packs.
The guaranteed Legendary in the first 10 packs of every set is enticing to chase... But if you consider all the sets to buy/ all the garbage legendaries it's doubtful going that route is better than just investing the same resources into Classic.
NEXT EXPANSION HOWEVER buy hard. It will have a two year hangtime which makes it a far better investment than the current expansion.
Buy packs from each expansion of this year until you get your legendaries. Then save the gold for the new expansion. Don’t buy packs from the year of Raven because they will rotate soon. Also save dust if you can to craft cards from the classic set that will go to the Hall of fame.
Well hsreplay is pretty good for the current meta decklists, but if you're looking for budget decks, not too sure. Maybe icy veins has something? Or hearthstonetopdecks?
Do you know page or anything help me to build good decks
Hearthpwn ;) you could also try out using hsreplay or if you want help for arena you could try using heartharena...

After doing my research I found out that the pink 'stuff' that appeared onto hearthstone cards must, in fact, have been coronavirus. It has through hearthstone spread across the globe and infected all computers. And because too few people played hearthstone with plastic gloves on they got infected through their computer. Thus coronavirus is Hearthstone's fault and I expect a total of 3 packs from each expansion to be given to all coronavirus victims.
Ha! Busted. He's asking the question for himself. Everyone knows hot girls don't play hearthstone except in the cases theyre streaming to make money off nerds!

Imo it really depends on what your girlfriend wants, adventures are always fun content to explore so if she's into that kinda stuff buying isn't necessarily out of the question. I haven't really calculated it but I also think that you'll be better of (on average) in raw dust-value if she were to disenchant the cards she got from it compared to just buying packs and disenchanting the cards she gets from that. (not that she needs to do that ofc) This is mainly a consideration in case she wants to just focus on the standard sets and disenchants all the cards when they rotate out. (and only in like 1.25 years)
A smart first step to expanding your collection is to buy 10 packs from each set possible as you're guaranteed to open a legendary within the first 10 packs you open of any set. (after you opened a legendary this won't be available anymore)
Also there are some (free) legendaries you can get from doing the (free) prologue of an adventure. The frozen throne adventure is such an example.
If she wants to build for the future and is only focused on standard the value of packs will differ: The best packs: Classic -> almost never rotate out and if they do you'll get a dust refund for them (as long as you log in within a certain period of time after they rotate out) 2nd tier: Packs from the 3 most recent expansions that have been released. those will become unplayable in standard in approx 1.25 years 3rd tier: Packs from the older expansions that you can still play in standard (will rotate out in approx .25 years) trash tier: packs from wild sets.
Do note however she still has the guaranteed legendary within the first 10 packs she opens from each set so it might still be worth opening packs from the lower tier sets...
As she improves at the game she might want to try out playing some arena, in general she'll probably have a net positive even if her average is only 3/4 wins compared to her buying packs. It also will enable her to play with cards she doesn't own and get a feel of what cards are good & does she want and what cards aren't. To improve at arena she can watch plenty of streamers/youtubers and use site's that help her build a decent arena deck like: heartharena. in particular the grinning goat is a good place to see what the 'meta' is in arena.
In terms of classes: the primary one I'd recommend rn is hunter, as it will always be a class she can build a decent (aggro) deck with without spending very much dust. Another good option is mage, as that class also has a lot of strong basic cards she can toy around with.
Edit: there is also some fun content she might want to explore like the kobolds & catacombs solo adventure which is completely free...
I hope you found this post a bit helpful haha :)

Flawless logic! I'm not sure that them being hot is actually real however, as me being such a nerd experienced plenty of coldness at times :'( May be it's cuz of make up/plastic surgery ? #feelsbadman

Play the better cardgames out there, Runeterra or Magic.

You don’t need any sites to build the decks at the moment cos you can’t afford them. And it takes the fun from deck building.
