Not to sound rude, but I think you are expecting too much.
I don't know how long you've been playing Hearthstone already, but this is the game were the developers waited 2 years to add new deck slots, because more than the original 8 could "confuse" players.
Battlegrounds was released (as open beta) sometime in November, and it was the first entirely new game mode since Tavern Brawl was added with The Grand Tournament in 2015 (unless you count Standard/Wild split, which happened 2016).
This is the game, where the developers have waited over 5 years before making an attempt to buff weaker cards, and it was only on a special event, and some of those were changed back again. They also waited over 3 years before attempting to change up the meta by reintroducing old cards temporarily (which happened last year for about 2 months).
After 3 or so years, arena got a new card pool and uses a new alrogithm in the drafting, As for other minor changes, we have ranked floors, there's a new player ladder with ranks 50-26 (technically up to 20, since veterans who once reached 15 can't even drop below 20 anymore), and we have a few events per year (Fire Festival, Hollows End, Winter Veil) with some special quests or tavern brawls. And after Single Player adventures were removed, we now kind of get them as 4th (and maybe 5th and 6th) expansion per year.
Other than that, Hearthstone doesn't really change on a fundamental level. Same main menu, same music, same graphics, same ladder mode, same casual mode, essentially same arena mode... it's a miracle that the store was changed a bit, and is no longer limited to Standard. Since december, there are new Hero Skins for purchase, the first new skins that replaced those 3 introduced n mid 2015.
Hearhstone is really slow with change, and very conservative. The developers are probably more interested in the game not changing too much to keep it clean and recognizable, even at the cost of it getting old eventually.
If you expect something "new", other than expansions or some new bundle you can purchase or something like that, you shouldn't hold your breath, and certainly not "soon".
I mean, there is some slight hope, since they apparently try to be a bit more bold with some decisions (like nerfing cards within a week of release, or releasing even more cards per year), but new modes, customizable classes... I don't think any of that is gonna happen. Maybe not never, but nothing I would expect to happen.
I was wondering when we could expect something new and fun in hearthstone?
a new gamemode, or changing the casual mode to create games with custom modifications?
I have played MTG for a long time, and have seen many custom rules to the game...
Magic had Highlander with 150 cards, EDH with 99 cards (almost the same as highlander) tibal themed, etc....
I would love to have a gamemode where you have to make a deck with 100 cards and have a starting health of 50, or a dual class gamemode etc..
I would like to hear what you guys think...
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
We just got Battlegrounds the first new pvp mode since Tavernbrawls. That enough for now,we shouldn't expect another one in a while

I was going to say we literally just got battlegrounds. And for the firs time in awhile are getting cards in between expansions.
if you think you're not getting enough compared to the rest of hearthstone, and you're ALREADY bored, you should move on.
still waiting for nozdormu mode :)
i still have no idea why they refuse to add a PTR where you can a huge bunch of different modes or rules, like:
start with 40 or 50 health/cards, different hero powers, etc. boggles my mind
regardless, you can add as many new cards into the game as you want, doesn't change the many flaws the game has, though
How much more do you want?
Just got a new expansion. Adventure with new cards. Battlegrounds. How much do you want?
