Situational. I think the utility of the minions paired with the extra minion per tavern roll (probably the most significant perk) and extra damage makes the T6 upgrade balanced as it is.
The issue right now I think is that Demons are pretty strong and Beasts aren't viable. The former has no need for T6, while the latter is somewhat dependent upon it. And while a card like Foe Reaper 4000 is strong in theory, it's tough to scale it that late in the game.
