With the rise of Druid and others with the Galakrond Awakening cards coming out, the power level of the game is insane. So now I regret the Shaman nerfs cuz now its gonna be Druidstone all the time. Maybe the nerfs were too much too soon?
In my opinion Shaman got too much nerfs. I enjoyed Galakrond Shaman very much but it was beatable too. It's so bad that blizz does everything before thinking about the next step. Or maybe next week there will be an even stronger meta with the new cards. But Shaman totally got killed.
Both nerf waves felt slightly premature to me. We always complained Blizzard takes so much time to react, and now they finally reacted SOON, and it ends up feeling like a possible mistake.
Yes, before the nerfs, Shaman really felt oppressive to play against and something had to give. But the second wave of nerds butchered what was left of Shaman and I was really surprised to see that.
It doesn't seem the adventure helps Shaman in any relevant way either, which means Shaman really got nerfed out of the year of the dragon, which is a shame ...
That said, I'm sure Shaman should be able to scavenge a decent deck out of the options it has, but the Galakrond archetype seems like a waste of space now ...
Then again, Priest's Galakrond was a joke from the get-go, so now they can be friends.
What makes me a little nervous is that Blizzard might just decide to unleash another wave of nerfs to terrorize the metagame, making more decks less fun ...
That's what it felt like to me, the nerfs, that all it did was make decks it hit less fun ...
Yes, hey overnerfed it. Invoker, Mogu, Dragon's Pack, Invocation of Frost, Sludge Slurper... 5 nerfs were too much. I think Invocation was unnecessary and really broke the back of the deck.

I know, I agree. And with new cards each week, who knows whats around the corner? Hopefully they will un-nerf Shaman a bit! Or, the new weapon and 10 mana spell will have to be enough I guess. lol
The bottom line is the first round of nerfs we're needed, but it 100% should have stopped there. Last round was a complete joke as shaman felt fine to play as or agains after round 1.
I used to hate shaman but then I remember that they will give him another evolution card, Explosive Evolution. I don't think he deserves nerf because Druid would be the only one with Powercreed cards. In fact all classes should have some Powercreed to balance.
Shaman with Galakrond with the Quest and Shudderwock Druid with the Quest and dragons with beast synergy Mage with the legendary spell and twinspell spells with cost 8 summon cards Hunter with Zul'jin or basically SMOrc Paladin with the Quest (has an identity crisis) Priest with resurrection cards and the Quest Rogue with Galakrond Warlock with Galakrond control or aggro Warrior with Galakrond and combo

LOL ""Then again, Priest's Galakrond was a joke from the get-go, so now they can be friends." so true!! I really like the discover aspect of Galakrond Priest, but pure control deck just lose to insane Dragonqueen plays etc....
and im sitting at 75% win with highlander galakrond shaman..
go ahead, ask for buffs. I dont mind
Yeah that is what I am thinking, have you guys played shaman? It is fine, actually. I think everybody just assumes it is dead since it was nerfed twice, but it actually is still a strong class. Just because it isn't as popular does not mean it is weak. It's just not an autopilot-win-every-game-class anymore, which no class should be.
Shaman is in a fine position. It's ok that Druid has taken over for a few days, I am sure some other deck will pop up soon again. These Druid versions also aren't oppressive to play against. Galak Lock shits on it for example. Quit whining about the nerfs, it's your own fault for only playing one class.

Who you talking too bro? Whos whining? Who only plays one class in HS either? Do you need a hug or something? lol
Shaman is strong like Druid, he will also have a new evolution card that can be combined very well with Zentimo. There is also Shudderwock and the quest that combined with Galakrond is very strong. If a class is not popular it does not mean that it is weak.
You all forget that Galakrond Shaman decks before nerfs was at 60% winrate. Bliz usually nerfs such decks. Druid is rising, yes, but it reaches 55.86% today on HS replay.

You say it was premature to nerf shaman that much and yet you cant wait to see what the meta brings in next weeks. Hah

I haven't tried it yet, but (im my head at least) priest should be a pretty viable counter to druid - maybe it's Gala priests time to shine!
went to do my daily at rank 9 and 5 consecutive matchups were against fucking rogue? wtf is up with that
Weikor, could I get your highlander shaman deck? I'm playing it a lot too but mine is inconsistent (homebrew):

Lol, Shaman is dead?
Sounds like somebody doesn't play Highlander Control Shaman.
