What cards do you think would be a good fit for BG? I've thought that cards like Shattered Sun Cleric or or Bonemare could be a fit at some point. When you're flipping through your collection, what jumps out to you?
I appreciate how often Blizz makes changes to BG, but it's mostly Hero-oriented. I would love to see more card rotation. Cobalt Guardian is getting a smidge old...
EDIT: On second thought, Bone Mare + a huge Rift Reaver or Floating Watcher would be terrible
I'd like them to introduce another tribe. The current beast, murloc, demon, mech has gotten stale. It's the same rush, for the same cards, to make the same premium build.
Dragons don't have enough low cost tempo, and might be too powerful at late stage. Elementals don't have enough synergy... They could introduce something new...Even put a new tribe tag on similar existing cards.
I do like that Blizz made a tiny step towards making the tribeless cards their own tribe via the new Tirion hero power. If they printed more cards with the "does X to a minion with no minion type," they could really become their own tribe.
Jokes aside, I think Tavern 6 is a bit underwhelming and mostly not worth getting to. Many of the minions are either situational or usually coming up too late to make good use of. Getting a full copy of any minion is probably too good, maybe Faceless Shambler would be more reasonable, but I think the high end minions need to pack a bit more of a punch to make up for the risk of upgrading. Perhaps Menagerie Warden, since it's beast-exclusive, but with Brann, it might be even more powerful than Gentle Megasaur is for murlocs.
Garrison Commander or Coldarra Drake could be interesting for heroes with usable hero powers like Pyramad or Wagtoggle, probably as 5-star cards. Some Inspire cards like Kvaldir Raider or Mukla's Champion could also give those heroes more of an upside. Maybe debatable since they would be completely useless to heroes with passive hero powers, but then again, Curator is the only hero that can get extra value from Zoobot and Menagerie Magician, since he gets the only dragon.

I would love some hero healing minions. Would make for some really interesting new strategies where health is sacrificed early on the hope that some healing can be obtained later

I think they could add to tier 1 timber Wolf i think that is his name the 1/1 beast that gives other beasts +1 attack
And to second tier maybe this classic card that gives minon +1/+1 her stats is 3/2 if i remember
Giant sandworm as a 5 star card, iirc in the beta stats page there was a minions killed by sandworm so maybe it's coming
Argent protector as a 5 or 6 star card could also work
High Priest Amet
Kabal Talonpriest
Dark Cultist
Ooh. Those are good ones!
Spawn of n’zoth or explosive sheep as anti token/ anti divine shield tech.
maybe faceless shambler? 6 star minion obviously.
As a 7-star minion, Faceless Manipulator.

Corpse Raiser as another 6 star card.
Another cool minion would be Crazed Alchemist, but I don't know at what tier. 3 maybe.
If they do add Dragons finally, it would probably have to focus on holding mechanics and maybe handbuffs, like Wyrmrest Agent,Twilight Guardian, Dragon Speaker and War Master Voone, so maybe you can also add Don Han'Cho or History Buff.
Cobalt Scalebane is one of the few dragons you could add without too much of a headache, and that would fit in pretty well as a 4.
As for less controversial suggestions, maybe Anubisath Sentinel or Eager Underling, Sunborne Val'kyr. Upgraded Repair Bot, Wildwalker, Addled Grizzly... there are many to consider, but most of them wouldn't really add anything new.
I made a thread a little while ago about what minions and changes I would add. Here are my card choices:
Crackling Razormaw (4-star), Faithful Lumi (1-star), Necrotic Geist (5 or 6-Star), Sergeant Sally (Unsure), Frothing Berserker (3-Star), Scaled Nightmare (3 or 4-star), Anodized Robo Cub (1 or 2-star), Druid of the Fang (3-star), ETC.
Tier 6 card - Sylvanas...oh boy, how fun would it be to steal the minion your opponent has been stacking all game? lol
Really good suggestions here. I especially like the idea of having cards that interact with Hero Powers
I would love some hero healing minions. Would make for some really interesting new strategies where health is sacrificed early on the hope that some healing can be obtained later
