Personally I preferred the bucket system, instead of getting a pre-created deck to play with (Or selecting your own cards in Heroic). That created much more fun and random decks. And treasures were super fun in particular. It also offered more replayability, as you never know what kind of crazy deck you'll build that you can never experience in standard/wild play. I don't see myself playing a chapter more than once, if it's always the same deck.
The difficulty for chapter 1 was also incredibly easy. No challenge whatsoever on either difficulty, even if not playing with a op deck. In previous adventures I do remember having to restart multiple times.
I haven't read any news to avoid spoilers about the chapters, so not sure if some chapters will have a different system.
Personally i don't care too much for solo adventures. When i do have to play them however, i prefer them to be more towards the crazy side where im overpowered as hell.
I enjoy the pre-made decks cuz thrs a bit of story attached to em, they're quick and simple. I'm really only after the rewards so i can resume playing against other players. Hearthstone RNG element is fun but i'd rather not waste time trying to beat an AI and losing at the 9th boss only cuz of some dumb RNG roll and have to start it all over again. Trying to get the gold pack in the last 2 adventure got a little annoying having to retry at some of the 9th round bosses due to some dumb RNG swing.
Although i can see people more interested in solo play would find the bucket system to be better as it offers alot more replayability
I hate RNG adventures that’s why I’ve never purchased even a wing of Uldum or Dalaran adventures. It’s just so stupid when random gives you shit treasures and cards so you can’t beat bosses that are OP for your deck and you can do nothing except starting over. Haven’t played heroic yet, have nothing to say about it.
In terms of replayability, no doubt Dungeon Run-style content is my favorite. But in this specific instance, where the whole point of the adventure is to conclude a year long narrative, I think the linear storytelling of the original adventures is more fitting. There's another sense of narrative progression, of the story developing. Playing as different characters each battle, moving through Northend towards a goal... I think it's great storytelling. I probably won't play it again, but I don't mind that. There's plenty of solo content for me to enjoy already.
My sole complaint is that Heroic is too easy. I would like a bit of a challenge.

It actually used to be both, sort of.
You would create your own deck for Normal and Heroic, and then there were pre-generated decks for Class Challenges, which would unlock an additional card for the given class.
I'm guessing they wanted to move away from building your own deck because these bosses become significantly easier as new sets are released and more powerful combos become available.
I really like that they went back to the old style. Maybe I'm biased because I started Hearthstone buying Blackrock and Naxx, but I prefer the old style adventures. Also in the Story Mode/Normal Mode you never really needed to create a new deck anyways, because it's too easy, so I like that they let you have pre-made decks with crazy heroes for those, while letting you create a deck for Heroic!
I have never replayed the new style of adventures. I like these adventures so much more. You have to do it with the resources you get, not rely on the cards you can pick.
premade decks are better for f2p players. some people dont have most cards and they find it hard to create a deck to beat bosses. so i think this is better
Are the cards you get in your each match of the adventure hand randomized? Or are they planned out scenarios as well as the draws?
This just popped into my head when I got a combo for an infinite number of 0 cost Fireballs vs. that high health boss pretty early on. Seemed pretty convenient.

Normal mode is already easy enough without going to such lengths. I'm pretty sure they are capable of doing what you described, but there's really no reason to.
The combo you mentioned is one of several ways to knock out that boss. Rather than rigging the draw, I think they just gave us a crazy OP deck to make us feel powerful and clever as we take down a seemingly (but not actually) powerful enemy.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if they could give me the cards without playing will be awesome
i hate this adventures
This is the old style of adventures. The first adventures (Naxx and Blackrock) were like this, except you made your own decks for normal as well.

Why not both?

Wow, people really prefer the Dungeon Run System? Damn, I feel old now
I far prefer the Dungeon Run style, though I don't mind this new one since the deck is given to you for normal play.
I prefer the system where I can create decks from my own cards.
Sadly this time heroic is not hard at all, I destroyed all bosses with 1 deck, I hope other chapters are harder.
