Are Zephrys and Queen Alextstrasza safe to craft now? I'd use them in highlander rogue and galakrond warlock. Could those 2 card not see play after the adventure cards are released?
Zeph yes, but maybe wait in Alex. She’s good and all but if you’re F2P it might be wise to chill for a bit. Zeph is safer imo and that’s something you can use I’m most decks.
Alexstrasza is Basic or Common set so she will always be relevant. Zephrys will rotate. Not sure about the new cards if they will be rotating in 2 years or not? If you have the dust and play decks that use Alex, then craft her! She is a win condition is alot of deck over time and right now.
Obviously Zephrys is a must have too if you play Highlander at all. Great card that single handedly saves and wins games.
I'd do both. They both CAN just win you games when you play them and both are always really fun to play. If you're gonna run Highlander decks, your gonna want to run both.
For me, I use them in every class but Druid (not a fan of Highlander Druid, though its got some support) and Warrior (though some have tried to make it work). But every-other class can support an at least T3 Highlander deck (maybe not warlock but I put them both in my heavy draw handlock deck as finishers and dragon activators). Do both if you can. But I would do Zephrys first.

Both or none, highlander deck need the maximum power for compensate the no duplicates limitation and both cards are amazing.
The nerf on Alex was tiny. No one was running it pre nerf just because of the high roll of her adding a copy of herself to your hand. The swing potential is still enormous and I imagine will be relevant until she rotates out.

Thought it was obvious who he was talking about.. guess not
The real question is: Do you also have the rest of those decks?
It really won't matter if you craft Dragonqueen and Zephrys for Highlander Rogue and play it without also having Heistbaron, Van Cleef, Kronx, Flik,etc...
Kronx, Heistbaron and Flik are cruicial cards for sure.
You could get away with not having Edwin
FWIW - I mostly played Reno Hunter and Reno Rogue to rank 5 this month, and my Rogue deck lacked both Edwin and Heistbaron, and I only crafted Flik this past weekend.
Hench-Clan Thug is a fine budget replacement for Edwin, while Spirit of the Shark is equally acceptable as a substitute for Heistbaron - the deck runs a bunch of lost-cost Battlecries and Combos, and you can also set up a 4-dragon Alex against a lot of opponents in the late game, if necessary. Both cards have been main-decked in Rogue off-and-on since they were released, so you aren't really hurting yourself too much if you include them.
Prior to crafting Flik, I ran Evasive Wyrm - it fulfils a similar role, and looking at the HSReplays numbers, the dragon actually has a slightly better played win-rate in Rogue decks than Flik (54%>52%.) It's hard-to-remove, and with 5-Attack it's a good beat-stick when it survives the opponent's turn, which isn't uncommon.
If you do, you'll have a nice foot in the door for wild if you ever want to try it out. Those two cards are a must include in most Reno decks. Plus, I imagine they will be Standard viable until they rotate

I think OP was talking about Dragonqueen Alexstrasza

Craft both or don't play highlander.

I crafted both Zephyrs and Dragonqueen for the Highlander Rogue deck last month
No regrets at all
Loving it. My first Highlander deck too
i think hes talking about the new, no dupe one. not the old one
Thought it was obvious who he was talking about.. guess not
They are only safe to craft golden. Otherwise you will probably incur buyer remorse.
Approves.

I hate these birds in the game ;-)

I have literally any other card. I'm only missing these 2 and siamat, will craft it too if i go highlander

Thank you all guys, going to craft them.
