Rogue is just disgusting in how overpowered it is and how it plays. They are cheaters. And you can say "it's a hard class to play", go fck yourself lol. Rogue doesn't need mana for most of the cards he plays and he draws cards like there's no tomorrow. It's infuriating to play against.
How in the WORLD is drawing 3 cards and making them 0 mana balanced? Oh yeah, they do it twice. Suck a fucking dick blizzard and get sap and backstab out of classic noobs

Agree 100%.
But it's not just the classic set. Rogue has all the best legendaries. "Fantastic treasure" my fucking ass. Destroy a minion and all copies of it. Etc.
In my opinion it's clear that recently (and by that I mean couple years, maybe since Brode left?) Blizzard does not treat all classes equally. They love Warrior (no doubt he's their favorite class, always gets best class cards), Rogue, Shaman and Hunter. With Priest, Paladin, Mage and Druid it's 50/50 (they have ups and downs), and Warlock practically lives in dumpster of thier design creativity.
Before you jump on me, yes I know Warlock is almost always relevant (he wasn't outside meta for years now) , but it's always awful boring zoo! Hunter for years used to be simple aggro class (face is your place SMOrc!) too, but in recent times he had everything. Swarm aggro, face aggro, midrange, control, spell, mech, buff, even combo! In contrast, Warlock gets a new archetype once every like 100 years or so, and when it happens, it sucks (even on paper)! Plot Twist and Arch-Villain Rafaam were at meme level and Supreme Archaeology was by far worst quest in the entire game (hell, even Lakkari Sacrifice was better). Shuffle Lock was never a thing and never will be, because Warlock is no Warrior or Rogue, so he doesn't deserve good cards.
"This is because his hero power gives him too much value, so his cards must be weaker, otherwise he would be broken!". Ye, sure, meanwhile Warrior gets "perfectly balanced" Scion of Ruin, 9/6 and rush for 3 mana (and can be hand-buffed) or Ancharrr and Rogue gets Heistbaron Togwaggle. But Warlock's HP outvalue those for sure...
The thing about warlock hero power its sounds nice on paper but its a double edged sword. In this aggro heavy meta you really need to keep your health at least above 16. Against smorc hunters I barely use hero power at all, against controll you will run out of cards faster. It can really screw you over, while other hero powers doesn't have this kind of impact on a match.
But the most broken thing in this meta, is the cards that make you draw and also make those cost 0. Like Heistbaron Togwaggle's treasure, Galakrond, the Nightmare or Dragonqueen Alexstrasza. You can play perfectly while rogues play galakrond on curve doesnt really matter how many times it invoked, and it pulls something ridiculous like free maly with eviscreates, or dragonqueen which will always discover something broken legendary, and there is no way you can remove all of them.
Also I feel like they need to nerf the discover/get random dragon thingy, the odds that it will be legendary its way too high. Yesterday i met a dragon warrior who got 3 Dragonqueen Alexstrasza it wasn't fun at all.

I feel the same. Yesterday I faced Priest who played Dragonqueen Alexstrasza 4 times! One normal copy, Seance, Chameleos from my hand and finaly Dragon Breeder. It was impossible to deal with that amount of value (2x 0 mana 8/8 each time) with my Quest Druid. It's kinda strange, that from pretty wide pool of dragons, Alexstrasza almost always gives you some heavy dudes (when I play her, it happens too).
The worst is, it's not just a one unlucky game. It happens very often... Look below, disgusting, even he was unusually upset.
It's the same issue as usual, even more mana cheating. While it's good on a small scale and works well under certain conditions, it cannot be the casual way to high roll and win the game as it is now.
People seem to have such short memories when it comes to Rogue. Quest Rogue wasnt the only defining Rogue deck, yea? Rogues have had the most top tier decks out of all classes throughout hearthstone history and have been included in every HCT tournament winner's line up since the beginning. And is also the most nerfed class out of all classes since the beginning.
I'm a Rogue player, but even I recognise that Rogues were always competitive to top tier.
I might be wrong here but I think the crazyness only started after quest rogue. Before, you had some miracle with auctioneer and malygos, or tempo with coldblood and leeroy, but those were never really T1 decks.

LOL, that notorious Tier S Kolento Miracle Roque got to be one of the most busted decks in the entire HS History, somewhere close to the Realms of Undertaker Hunter and HS Beta pre-nerfed Alextrasza Warrior or pre-nerfed Freeze Mage.
And Malygos Roque variants were always T1 or T2 at the very least. Roque is the one class that is represented the most in Ladder in pretty much every Meta, the only shocking thing is that another deck (Shaman in this exp) only serves as a distraction, until Meta develops, and then its always the same ole. Roque has the best Classic / Basic set, the cheapest card Generators, and on top Heistbaron Togwaggle which is a completely busted legendary in its own right.

1. Preparation will always make their newer cards even better than they already are.
2. Rogues are getting better at stealing from classes, along with the synergies.
3. Their "playing, having and comboing a bunch of cards" playstyle provides them with lots of options.

Overall, I have the impression that this meta is very high roll oriented. Today I played against Rogue who turned (with Witchy Lackey) Blink Fox into Nozdormu the Timeless and later rolled Dinotamer Brann and Shudderwock.

Other than old Quest Rogue it’s one of the toughest classes to play well.
