Since this upcoming adventure is like the adventures of old (Naxx, Blackrock, LOE, ONiK), I think it's fairly likely that it has four new legendary cards. Traditionally, these have always been neutral, BUT I do wonder if Blizzard will actually make these four legendaries hero cards for the Explorers. It felt very odd to me that 5 classes (League of Evil) got an extra legendary AND it was a hero card last expansion. Will the scales be balanced for the Explorers with the new adventure?
(TBH - I 100% know that is extremely unlikely, but just enjoy the speculation!)
The adventures had 5 Legendaries and Naxx had 6, but anyway, I would really like them to release four Hero Cards for the explorers. This is an amazing idea, dude. The Hero Cards could actually do some highlander stuff too. And there probably should be a Neutral legendary to keep the 5 Legendaies per adventure.
I am looking forward to this because Standard right now is not fun to play and I already beat and unlocked everything in the previous adventures released. I like single player content because I get to enjoy Hearthstone without the oppression of ladder games.
Well storywise it would make sense to say the least. The bad guys summon galakrond to kick some ass adn then the good guys respond in Kind by summoning… who?! That is the tough one really. I'm not big on WoW-lore but galakrond is probably on a different powerlevel than most other stuff we have seen so far.
It might be that they bring back the 4 old old gods as hero-cards in order to fight against galakrond - but that would be a bit of a waste for just one Adventure. I fell like they could theme a whole year around the old gods if they wanted to...

Oops. You're totally right. I was thinking LOE just had the 4 explorers, but I forgot about Rafaam. (And the other expansions I just didn't think very hard about...)
Agree that one neutral legendary would be good for consistency, and also so the other 5 classes don't feel totally shafted.
New cards will be fun as long as they are not auto include in every deck because the power level is obvious. Make the power level related to specific deck types, not all decks.
For example, Zilliax is universally good and why most decks play that minion.
You know, like a Beast card that makes your other beasts better. Or Dragon synergies since this is the year of the Dragon.
The EVIL classes got a super-legendary form in the appearance of Galakrond. I'd speculate that (similar to the last couple of expansions) we may get something like that for the remaining 4 classes that lucked out of the Galakrond pool. So we might get a "good" dragon of some sort. Or maybe even a Cataclysm-form Deathwing? :-D
I think they will add some more Dragon support - since the dragons decks (which was the main theme of the expansion) are just Tier 2 right now (Below the Galakrond decks)
I also expect that they will add some more highlander support.
I just hope they stop with the Dungeon style. It was nice, but now I find it boring. Much better the old adventures where you could build your own deck (also it gives purpose to wild cards even to non wild players)
I am hoping for an actual Hero Card, such as Sir Fin and Reno that build on their Singleton style. That would be amazing and if they do, I beg you to not make Paladin a fucking aggro hero, make him control or mid-range please!

Highlander Explorer Heroes would be insanely cool!!!
Everyone is saying EVIL is so strong compared to the Explorers because lorewise it would make sense for them to start losing them later with new cards get on par with power level.
With another balance update coming, I think that's not the case, sadly. I think the rich will just get richer and maybe the Explorers' decks will become better, but so will Galakrond.
I think they vastly overestimated the power of a hero card with huge swing turns or that create immense value over the game compared to Highlander and the small dragon sinergies.
Ironically enough, some EVIL decks are even running Zephrys and Dragonqueen alongside Galakrond anyways. They were supposed to be the Explorer's helpers, but surrendered to EVIL as well.
My Predictions -Galakrond for Paladin, Druid, Hunter and Mage -3 cards for each class -4 neutral cards *2 epic Highlander cards *2 Galakrond cards +An epic of invoke +A legendary who benefits from invoke four times

I discussed this with my friends and they expect around 10 new dragons in the adventure. This will make dragon decks more consistent in both formats. I also expect one of the 4 or 5 legendary cards to be a dragon and one to be highlander.
I feel like by now we shouldn't have to "speculate" about this. It's potentially a lot of gold/cash so it would be only fair if we could plan things accordingly.
People are still believing Explorers are getting Galakrond...
Galakrond is an evil dragon that sought to destroy the world and cannibalized his own brethen for power...the aspects fought to imprison/kill in the lore...
The Explorer classes are NOT getting a Galakrond. Why would Elise, Finley, Reno or Brann invoke Galakrond?
Perhaps they might get an Aspect Hero Card, but I think that's also expecting a little much. We can only hope for much better dragon and highlander class sinergies.

They need to implement something that makes Galakrond less dominant, thats for damn sure.

Well the pre order bundle is hopefully coming out in a week, so not that long until we get kore info on that

Auto squelch. That's all I'm asking for.
