How many people works at Blizzard? 6? two nerf in 30 days means both the design and the testing team heavely suck. I hope and guess they start to work expansions at least one year in advance the release. how such a infinite mess is even possible?
Yeah, Galakrond Warrior is an issue. Been playing the deck for the last week and it’s just nuts. Scion of Ruin is batshit crazy good and the value with Barista and Dragon Breeder is insane. It’s a “do everything better than any other deck” deck, can go face, has gas for days, can go control... nearly no weakness.
Tbh Rgoue isn’t OP, it’s just high roll and super unfun when they get the Apothecary crap going. Be glad to see it changed tho, not a fun deck to play against. I don’t think Pirate Warrior is an issue at all, I haven’t lost to it in so long. Even if they get Ancharrr on curve. Galakrond Zoo might get a hit though. It’s quietly very strong and one of the very few decks that I’ve regularly lost to with Gala Warrior.
Good to see another patch coming so soon. The metas in great shape right now but some decks could be toned down a little.
I'm seeing Skybarge to 2/4, Scion of Ruin to 4 mana and Necrium Apothecary to 5 mana. The meta is quite fine right now actually, but these nerfs could change a lot of thing.

Remember when SnipSnap was released and everyone saw the possible combo with the priest epic to reduce deathrattle minion costs? Everyone saw it. Except Team 5.
I think Blizz will nerf galakrond to 8 mana and the 4/5 taunt to 3/5 or 4/4. They need to nerf the 0 mana 2/2 pirate to 2/1 and the 1 mana 2/1 charge pirate to 2 mana 2/2. Faceless corruptor needs another nerf to 3 attack. I expect around 6 cards to get nerfed and 3 BG heroes, neferian and rafaam for sure, their HP bumped to 2 mana, curator rotated out.
Honest ponder: is the current Pirate Warrior really in need of a nerf? Is it more pervasive at lower ranks perhaps, because I honestly can't recall seeing one in the last few weeks at ranks 5->1
Near the start of the expansion it was undoubtedly oppressive and a problem, but I assume that was because of the unstable meta and aggro always does well at that stage. These days, I've barely seen it even played, let alone had a problem with it.
Of course, maybe it is more a statistical problem with the averager win rate or something. Just curious, really. It's certainly not in the realms of spit-inducing trigger-fest that the old PW was.
Scion of ruin to 4 mana is fine. Scion to summon only one copy is the death of the deck and frankly unfair if you look at the other invoke twice cards.
I actually think they will target shield of galakrond and maybe devoted maniac. Nerf all galakrond decks at once. Not to mention they are both common. It seems from their wording galakrond was never supposed to be that good at all. Nerfing the non-class cards makes the most sense.

HSReplay currently has it at # 1 with a 54.25 % WR. I don't know how prevalent it is (HSR has it as only the second most popular Warrior build, and behind many others, at around 5 %), but I suspect the power level is there. But the only card that I can reasonably see being nerfed is Ancharrr.

Pirate Warrior in standard is not very oppressive because it is very weak in the first two turns but in the wild it has a very strong turn or two thanks to Ship's Cannon, Patches the Pirate and N'Zoth's First Mate.
After playing a lot of galakrond warrior and tempo mech Paladin I think I’ve won against priest 1/15 times. While rogue sucks to play against, it’s beatable. I am afraid that priest play rate will skyrocket after the nerfs it if remains untouched. That deck already has an incredibly high win rate (I am not sure what beats it tho so I could be overreacting for nothing, but my guess is that rouge was keeping it in check)

Why so rude?
Always expect the unexpectable!

Missing lethal since June 2015.

Yes cause getting pounded by 10 Attack Stonetusk Boars and 15+ Attack Leroy Jenkins on turn 7 is completely fair and healthy... 🙄

Let's hope for a massive dust flow from these nerfs!
I've been holding onto my dust for a month now, it seems that I will probably continue until April rotation.
Apothecary to 5.
Ancharr to 4.
Skybarge to 4.
Hoarder to 5.
Scion of ruin to only summon one copy.
Dragons pack to x2 4/5s
Leroy Jenkins to hall of fame. Please for the love of God.
Kóbold Necrium to 6 mana
Ancharr to 4 mana
Nerfs to 3 cards of wild of arquetype warrior pirates too
Scion of ruin to summon other scion of ruin
Galakrond all cards of hero to 9 mana
(Maybe the new adventure have new cards of Galakrond for play more in lategame Galakrond)

wait, ppl lose to that ??
The same decks that lose to the old Quest Rogue. Usually slower/ control decks.
I found my remedy at last, and now my guiding star is shining; and when my present becomes my past, I realise, that every cloud has a silver lining!

In addition, most of the damage he does is from weapons thanks to Death's Bite and Bloodsail Cultist.
Maybe wild nerf cards from that archetype.
