I switched a few cards around like a flare and an owl for silencing.
Draw is awful (I got rid of the 2 tracking because of the necessity of the 4 cards you lose from picking 1 of 3 x2) Any taunts you lose to, I don't think I have beaten a priest either.
Can anyone make a suggestion on things which may help this deck, maybe it's being played a bit wrong. This cut and paste version has 2 snake trap, and most versions actually seem to use misdirection. I love MD on an empty board for my side and a big guy on their side.
You're making a mistake by cutting tracking. Face Hunter is all aggro. You don't wanna draw the game out as face Hunter, so you don't use all 30 cards ideally, so being able to pick which of the 3 you draw is no different then picking which is on the bottom of your deck. It gets your ideal draw at turn 4/5/6 when you need specific cards.
I dislike the secret package in face Hunter, but if your using it explosive and snake are the way to go. Misdirection is to slow for me, and it gets played around alot even if they are expecting freezing or explosive. Not improving your board state or dealing face damage is also bad.
Silence isn't a bad tech right now, but Flare is really bad compared to tracking, more so with secrets not being that relevant right now. If your gonna play face Hunter, you can't give up 2 mana for an unknown draw. I know discarding seems bad, but tracking is the right option. Check how many cards are left in your deck at the end of your next game if you don't believe me.
That's a neat take on face Hunter, I've always liked the death rattle part of Hunter. Having said that, Nine live is really slow and Mana inefficient for face decks. It's 3 for 2 damage, add a 2-3 delay damage minion to your hand. I see the idea with Necro, but it's just a bit to slow for face Hunter.
If your really into misdirection playing one isn't bad, but get a single snake trap in there as well. Snake trap gets you a beast for skill command. Phase stalker can also pull misdirection at the worst times, where snakes are always fine.
Not having 2 unleash the hounds is silly, it's core in aggressive Hunter decks. It punishes greed, can combo into so much damage with skill command and can clear, usually taunts, if it must.
I'd drop flare, nine lives, one or both misdirections, and maybe a freezing trap to get snake trap, and unleash the hounds in. You don't need two tracking since you only typically need one per game, but it is always good for finding lethal. Also rapid fire is amazing for face Hunter, trying to find another slot for the second copy is a good idea.
Misdirection has cost me games against face hunter. It's a good card, as essentially many decks don't have healing and it prevents your opponent from killing you first, which is what I always try to do as a token druid vs hunter. When a face hunter relies on minions I can often outpunch him, but misdirection has messed me up on a few occasions. I'd much rather run that then Nine Lives.
Every time I see one of these lists I can’t help but wonder how people play it without falling asleep. I guess kudos for trying to throw something different in there, but it’s funny at the same time because people chimed in as basically were like “only Smorc, you hunter you go face.”

They would argue how people can play 30 minute control games without going to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I prefer those types of games, just playing devils advocate.
Also, despite people's hate for aggro decks, there's literally 0 valid counter argument to the fact that your games per hour playing this type of deck is significantly higher than playing control. And that is important for people on a tighter schedule.
So many people on here complain about aggro and say how longer, control games are just better no question. I would like definitive proof as to what their living situation is like. I'm sure they work full time and have a life outside of gaming...
People who claim that Aggro doesn't require skill have little to no experience in card games and thats a fact. Is the gameplan simple and is often the most effective play most of the time to maximize damage output? yes, but how to maximize damage output and when to trade/draw the game out a bit takes a lot of trial and error.
I think people tend to over analysis the whole aggro vs control argument. Every vs card game has quick aggressive decks and slow control decks. The people who strongly prefer one style typically dislike the other style. This is nothing new, and it just gets amplified because its the internet and thats what happens with everything. Worry less about it, it won't change.
Playing one of the many FaceHunter type of decks similar to this

Thank you MFV, even though I've played a long time, I'm still new and learning things and appreciate the time you took to write that out.
I changed the deck a small bit right after posting. What do you think about the revised one?

Put both tracking back in. It's too powerful to cut. If you're going to fatigue with Face Hunter you've lost anyway.
Thanks.
What do you think about Necromechanic and removing nine lives + 1 tracking.
IF and I know it's an IF you can get your 3 lepers on board Nechromechanic becomes incredibly powerful. Also synergies with Kobold.
No problem, Hunter is my main class.

Looking again, timber wolf isn't doing much for you, if you don't have unleash the hounds and snake trap that is.

Lots of great info, thanks so much everyone.
Suicide is great for facehunter players, try it!

Suicide as in killing yourself?

Someone has lost to too many face hunters, haha!
The one thing I have enjoyed and hated about this deck is when the games are close they are within a few points and it's a lot of fun.
When they aren't close, they have almost full health and you are dead on 6 or 7
