This is how I picture what is happening inside Blizzard HQ right now (thanks to all the money you spent on Descent of Shamans, ladies and gentlemen): Team 5 and the rest of Blizzard laughing at you, counting your money and enjoying a wild party!!! -.-
I just love how everyone was saying that nerfs weren't good and now Shaman is #7 in Hsreplay. Although they did saw that Galakrond Shaman's deck in particular was quite broken (streamers who played it before release just told it), I thought at first glance that the nerfs were ok, and that Blizzard is WAY more reactive to these things than before. They happened since the beginning of the game. Remember old days when you had to wait 2 months for a proper nerf? Balance issues will always be a problem. It's pretty difficult to get the same feedback as a playerbase as big as Hearthstone and millions of games can give you. IA's still aren't as good to emulate this, sooo... We've to get used to it. At least, now they react in a week.
Also, Hearthstone wasn't created 27 years ago like Magic or 21 as Yu-Gi-Oh!. Hearthstone is just 6 years old. Do you think these things never happened to the other card games? Of course they did, a freaking lot. I'd say more than in Hearthstone. In fact, it keeps happening.
To finish, I'd like to say that I don't know why people loved Ben Brode so much. The best thing that happened to Hearthstone was him leaving. They stoped making STUPID mistakes (remember Quest Rogue?), and the game started to get crazy effects and synergies, new game modes, more help to free to play players, new fun adventures, a balanced meta where almost all classes are viable to some degree. You all just need to be less salty, and be thankful for the new team, who's making a good job and giving us a good game. And if you don't like something, just speak with arguments, don't yell like an angry child whose sugar was taken away.
If this community were less salty, the dev team would take it into account when making game decisions.

Oh, you're right, Shaman's winrate is 47.4% now according to HSReplay, but we still have to wait a bit more, those number can still change drastically, especially after the meta truly settling. :(
We are getting 35 new cards in January, and they probably think that this will shift the meta and counter existing problem decks. It was a poor design choice, but it might be fixed soon.
dude wtf since Ben Brode left this game is much better
remember genn and baku?? that was his last abomination in a long long list
that guy was cancer, thank god he left
Dude, have you seen most of the current Hearthstone developers??? Each of them has the personality of a f...king potus and let's not forget they still make lots of really dumb mistakes!!! :(
Cancer or not, I wish I could work which such an amazing person some day. Dreaming is free, after all... :P
To finish, I'd like to say that I don't know why people loved Ben Brode so much.
Because the guy is charismatic as f...k, that's why. He could sell potatoes for millions of dollars and still make a profit!!! ;)
Yeah, he knew how to capitalize that very well lol. He was responsable of Genn and Baku, and some broken quests. Good achievements. Wild was almost unplayable because of him.

So what? The current team is far from being perfect... No one is, my friend.
Excuse me, what exactly changed for better with Ben Brode missing? Face Hunter with Lepper Gnome came back, and now you have even more powerful than Quest Rogue, Deathrattle Rogue with 10/10 1 mana charge minions instead of only 4/4 (or 5/5). Best decks after nerfs are Face Hunter and Pirate Warrior. Mage, Priest and Warlock are irrelevant, Paladin holds only with old Holy Wrath combo or few left Murloc builds. Main theme of the set, dragons, are worthless as almost no dragons from the set, save new Alex, see play in tier 1-2 decks.
This meta is like many nightmares of Hearthstone combined into one.

I'm sure that you will find the next meta equally worse. People who complain nonstop always do.
We are talking about the dev team that had the brilliant idea of ressurecting two of the most hated decks in HS history in the same patch (face huntar and pirate warrior). For sure they are incompetent.

I'm still enjoying this meta, currently playing with druid, but my dear EternalHS, you have to admit it could be much better... But I must clarify I'm not expecting it to be perfect, that would be ridiculous.

Who said that? But I think they're better and they take better decisions.

According to Dean Ayala and that guy no one cares about named Chris Sierra, people love pirate warrior... Jesus Christ, those two guys are f...king clueless... :(

I actually don't know other than what the stats tell me and what I've seen on videos.. I play exclusively wild and I haven't really had any complaints for years (sniplock was the only real problem imo). I wouldn't subject myself to the torment that is standard lol

Ungoro was the peak of Hearthstone. And yeah, they've never recovered from losing Brode.
I like how people are evaluating the state of hearthstone through the salty whiny filter of the hearthpwn community.
