Now it will evolve into a 10/10 or higher 50% of the time.
And a minion removal kills a 8/8 as well as a 10/10. The issue was probably never the stats itself, these 2 extra damage no one cares. But you can do this combo probably far bit later, then when everyone has actually removals that can deal with this. And you also have not the scary minions on turn 8 that does MORE than having anything on board that has simply stats. For example: Catrina Muerte, Deranged Doctor or Tirion Fordring. And you also have some pretty bad minions there too: 5/5, 8/8 for example. Colossus of the Moon might be the only thing where you can say jackpot there. But the rest... maybe even the 6/6 that summons a 6 mana minon too at the end of your turn. Still: rather this than the minions mentioned above.
Is Fleshshaper going to make the cut still? It's much harder to get it out early now. And against slower decks (that don't flood the board with minions), you may not get it out at all. Worth it?

The problem was always the stats. Getting a 12/12 on turn 4 is always considered a high roll. Now has a 12/13 chance to roll into at least an 8/8 worth of stats. There's now only ONE low roll in his pool.

Very probably not. The more I think about it this nerf is rough against everything but decks that flood the board. It's more than just "getting" it out a little later as trades happen constantly. This card was super easy to get out on 3-4 regularly. Now at those same points it'll be 5-6 mana instead of 3-4 and if any trades happen, as they very regularly do, then it makes it even harder to develop a board state for it. Making the idea that you just need a "few more turns" potentially wrong most of the time.
i cant believe someone complaint about mogu nerf because it could evolve into 10 drop ?
Seriously, stat doesn't mean much at later game because opp has more card and mana to deal with it. Remember Conjurer's Calling ? just 1 mana more but its power went down significantly
In fairness it was really 2 mana more, since it hits the twinspell too.
But the end result was the same - it makes you commit more to that play so you can't bullshit afterwards. Conjurers at 4 means you can't Poly or Fireball; and Mogu at 9 +Corrupt at 6 means you can't double battlecry her and drop a mogu unless your opponent has 3 minions, and you can't drop 2 unless they have 4.
To be fair... Priest still makes shaman players look like a joke, and they still haven't done anything about Divine Spirit + Inner Fire Combo ... so... obviously Blizzard doesn't really care about Hearthstone anymore... at this point they literally just nerfed Shaman because of the amount of players playing shaman... now suddenly there's a pack bundle sale going on... Simple marketing, cash grab game grabbing cash.. stop complaining or stop playing imo
I think the most important part about these nerfs is that hopefully the aggro decks can wipe shamans off the face of the earth before they get a chance to play corrupt elementalist.
good riddance shaman, get wrekt and never come back.

To be fair to Slurper, it was a really consistently good class card in a class with traditionally wonky and bad class cards.
