It is the opposite: If shaman gets played less after the nerfs, face hunter will also struggle. Face hunter is a favorite against that shaman deck. Control decks wil appear more often again after shaman nerfs, which is bad for aggro.
I think token druid and, in particular, pirate warrior will be the kings of aggro post nerf. Both have a bad matchup against Galakrond shaman right now, and should benefit from the balance changes. Face hunter, meanwhile, derives most of its current popularity from a (relatively) good matchup against shaman - and is currently (according to HSReplay) struggling against the two others mentioned. So, yeah... no. Thankfully, 'cause face hunter is boring to play against, even for an aggro deck.

Lets not forget about Bombs Warrior, that already knocks down Zephrys and Alexstrasza, maybe we will even see a Pirate / Bombs Hybrid of new cancer revolution...oops there I revealed it :P
I was winning games against Face Hunter last night using Pure Paladin. I put in enough healing that they would concede by turn 5. The deck only works against Shaman because most of those decks don't include healing and they can't get strong enough to kill a Hunter until turn 8, by which point they can be dead.
As someone else noted, if Shaman takes a dive soon, this deck will as well. It could really be a new meta soon... after all of 9 days of the first DOD meta.

Well that's the weakness of aggro and all face is the place decks. Some taunt, healing and aoe at the right time and they can early concede. But I still prefer a little bit faster decks then one where I need 30 minutes per game. Somethimes it is ok but most of the time I wanna play more games in less time. Especially as I usually don't have that much time for playing hs.

No, they won't. Because not only they have it's worst matchup gone, all other decks too. Right now every deck seems to do anything they can do against galakrond shaman, no matter what else exist. When this deck is finally gone, people can focus on other decks. Aggro will not benefit if midrange and controll can finally play again.
I think the nerfs are going to shake up the meta some, for sure. But it's not going to fundamentally change what the best cards in the game are (for the most part). Aggro will be good, I think.

Face Hunter is givng my Mage deck a really, really hard time. It does well against most other decks but with limited abilities to gain health back it's tough.
Lost my first game against Face Hunter around 15 minutes ago (playing with Galakrond Rogue). I haven't checked any detailed statistics about this Hunter deck yet (neither I care to do so for the time being) but it doesn't seem really that powerful, at least from my point of view... :P
I'll be interested to see how it fairs over the next few days. I'm sure it will do well as people experiment briefly, but I think it largely prayed on it's match-up against Shaman.

Facehunter is so easy to beat so I don't mind it. Sadly it's boring as hell to play against

The Golden Rule of Hearthstone.
As a control player, I always welcome more aggro into meta.

Didn't lose with Shaman either. Just teched a Witch's Brew and they conceded three times.
