shamn winrate are only dropping cause everyfool out there is playing it. the deck is still super op but when idiots play it and dont know how to pilot they lose.
just yesterday one played Kronx while having galakrond in hand. he insta conceded. not the first case tho. ppl that dont know their mulligan etc.
they do know how to get the 2\1 murloc on turn 1 EVERY SINGLE TIME. how do they do it? dont know
So there are counters to Galakrond Shaman, eh? Who knew?
Oh, that's right -- I did, and I've been saying it all along.
And now people are starting to complain about aggro decks? So it's time for another lesson in rock-paper-scissors?
If aggro decks are beating you and you are seeing a lot of them, you need to make a control deck. This expansion may seem very midrangey at first glance, but there are still a lot of good control options in it, plus all the great ones from the older Standard sets. Get to work and quit yer bitchin'.

I've been playing the game since the beta and if my memory serves me correctly, Galakrond Shaman is the most powerful deck I've ever seen in every spectrum of the game. It has 21 core cards; if you're not getting the results you were hoping to get, then it's easy to make adjustments in other 9 slots by adding more tech or85 AoE cards... Barista Lynchen and Faceless Corruptor combo creates infinite Shudderwocks which is more than enough to win against almost everything.
How do you want to fix the Hunter Hero Power? Making it one dmg it would be the worst class by far.
There's been a wealth of good solutions offered by the community over the years. It doesn't have to just be direct damage. It could even be something as benign as "Summon a 1/1 beast" to keep in synergy with the Hunter as a class.
I'm sorry, I don't agree. Hunter HP matches with its core set and play mentality. It has its own disadvantages.
Also, you can't emote "I will hunt you down!" and then throw 1/1 Tabbycat on the field, come on.
It's worked for Paladin since the game was in beta, so no reason it wouldnt do the same here. And it doesn't limit design space this way, by forcing Hunter to always be aggro-focused. Also, why does it have to be a Tabby Cat? A 1/1 tiger would be much more realistic. Or a raptor or something.
If people can emote "That's incredible" and slam down a useless 0/2 totem that does nothing, then dropping a 1/1 beast and emoting "I will hunt you down" should be pretty on point IMHO... ;-) lol

I actually thought you were joking about the Hunter HP, but I now see you are serious. You might not be thinking clearly, and in need of some time off. Good thing the holidays are coming up.

I played some games with netdeck Shaman after all the fuss about it (I usually play Hunter). It's definitely a good deck and helped me climb, but I did lose a few as well. If you don't luck out with invokes it's GG. If you face aggro hunter it's GG. Some warrior builds are GG.
I even lost to priest a few times, idk the name of it but the one with a ton of khartut defenders and convincing inflitrators. And priest has lowest winrate of everything.
I feel like I can climb more consistently with my hunter decks. So what if Shaman has a time to shine, other classes like Hunter have been way more consistent over the years.
All i see is toxic reinforcements hunter pinging me down and ofc tl anubisath rogue. Man that deck can be opressive.
I got wrecked by that deck the other day. I was laughing because the guy was running wisps and I was like, wtf is this shit? Next thing I know he’s dropping 1 mana 10/10s. I actually almost won but my zephyrs was buried in my deck. That deck is stupidly high roll.
I've got legend this month only playing Shaman from rank 5, and I got a 67% winrate and I haven't played the game since January, so there's clearly a problem with the deck.
It felt really oppressive, and I made lots of missplays so any nerfs that the deck receives will be more than welcome.

Have you heard about shirvallah the tiger?

Mmm-hmm...
its not a story the shamans would tell you

I fatigued a galakrond shaman to oblivion with my reno dragonlock. Most satisfying game ever.
Terrible fucking Shaman players who have no idea how to play the deck are getting hard stuck at 15 and are whining that they're doing badly.
I've won maybe 30% of my games because the dumbfuck Shaman player used the hero power AFTER using Galakrond
I was going to write something similar, but bit more kind and tongue in cheek..
im 8-3 vs hunters.. idk how xD but yea 67% WR with galakrond shaman

and what do that say about you rank 10 players for playing quist shaman that suck
from an old post...
https://www.hearthpwn.com/news/1740-undertaker-hunter-was-once-25-of-the-meta-other
and now shaman is over 27% of the meta (over 50% in rank 1) and has close to 60% winrate.
