Same here. Having a much harder time now. The meta has shifted towards driving out galakrond shamans. Takes a while to rank up now but at least it doesnt feel stupidly unfair when winning (for the most part :p)
Mostly facing aggro hunters, drathrattle handbuff rogues, other galak shamans and a sprinkle of small specific counter decks here and there.
Guessing once shaman gets nerfed, a lot of control ish decks might finally have a chamce and theyll stomp these others decks. Can't wait to see how the nerfs impact the game.
Face pally is actually the only deck that can do something against Galakrond shaman. The other just try to survive against you and if you are really you can loose.
All I see anymore now is hunters, myself. Not seen a Shaman in the last two days. I don't actually know which is worse anymore. It's impossible to play any more meaningful deck at the moment. If it's not Endless Invoke Rushing minions, it's endless rushing Hunter minions and being pinged to death. Why they still haven't fixed the Hunter Hero Power after all these years of it being a problem is beyond me. :-(
How do you want to fix the Hunter Hero Power? Making it one dmg it would be the worst class by far.
There's been a wealth of good solutions offered by the community over the years. It doesn't have to just be direct damage. It could even be something as benign as "Summon a 1/1 beast" to keep in synergy with the Hunter as a class.

What in gods name are you talking about? Other than warrior, hunters have the least versatile hero power in hearthstone. It provides no survivability options, just as warriors provides no offensive ability options. I am not calling the hero powers bad by any means, but they are not ideal hero powers for builds that go against the grain (aggro warrior, and control/Reno hunters would benefit greater from a hero power that interacts with the board).
Hunters hero power just motivates an aggressive build. Just like warlocks hero power influences builds based around it. Those types of hero powers encourage deck ideas that build around them, whereas hero powers like that of mage or Druid are just always effective regardless of what you're running.
Also, the majority of the top tier hunter decks in at least the last two years be been more midrange based. Mech hunter was an exception, and yes the deck was benefited from the hero power, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's like complaining about warriors because of how well control warriors utilize it. Absolutely insane claim you've made.
And what change to you propose? Do you want it to be able to only target minions? Because let me tell you that would be insurmountably better than the current iteration. Do you want an overhaul on it entirely? If so, what? You couldn't make it beast themed because you can't pidgeonhole a class like that. Do you want to allow it to interact with the board? Because every hunter player and their mother who plays any non raw aggro version of hunter would welcome that change any day.
same for me. so I switched to nearly pure quest shaman (it runs only 4 galakrond cards: double-invokers, kronx and galakrond itself) and my winrate went fine again. quest with lackeys, sandstorms and mind controllers are so cool against aggro.
updated: bad newz boyz.. I played with quest shaman for another hour-two, and actually face hunter is really bad mutchup for him. However good-old taunt warrior seems counter current anti-meta quite well :)

As I mentioned previously, there have been a wealth of good discussions on this topic and it has been raised by far more notable players than myself (streamers, professionals, alike) that it has always been a problem - not only for the amount of damage output it provides but also because it locks the class into purely one style of play - aggro. It prevents any meaningful use in control and has only been featured in some of the more outlandish combo decks with HP-manipulation. The HP doesn't have to be limited to just doing damage. It can provide a weapon, or a minion, or card-affect, or buff. There's a lot of options available. Limiting your view to just one aspect/option is somewhat short-sighted.

Face palla You are are kidding you have enough counter to shaman but yeah like always the community want nertfs after 2 days in new expansio because this communioty is idiot Because now 1 week lateryou see the meta evolves you seee a lot of no brain aggro hunter or the new rogue barnes ior otk palla or zoolock

It's far from unusual for the community to cry for nerfs immediately post-expansion. But it's absolutely unprecedented for the devs to actually bring the hammer down within a week. Something they wouldn't do (ever) if they numbers they have didn't support the need for nerfs. So the only idiot I can see here, is... well, you. And the guy who started this thread.
Just letting it here... over 25% of decks are galakrond.. so some might not do as well... also in rank 1, the most try hard rank, over 50% is galakrond. Those are just general statistics. i had days i saw 0 glakronds and others where 90% of my opponents were galakrond . Those are just anecdotal facts.
The reality is that Galakron shaman is one of the most played decks on the game history ( naxxramas hunter was never at over 25% of players playing it). The fact that people are beginning to loose with it is because all the meta is made to counter it, so wining match up would be harder and is now only a 59% winrate compared to 65% at the beginning of the expansion ( normal tier 1 decks are 53-55%)
Holy wrath paladin has positive winrate only because of galakrond, while loosing hard against warriors, rogues and hunters..
Have your winrates dropped with Shaman, lads?
Paly, face Hunter, Zoolock, Mage.. kinda different landscape from last week

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Nice try. It's still broken, and it's still getting a much deserved nerf. Now go back to grinding your toxic new deck until they make it unplayable,

Pure clickbait

Face Hunter and the like are feasting on Shaman right now just as Control Warrior feasted on Rogue after RoS dropped. Textbook warped meta.
I'm glad they're bringing the nerfs so quickly. They really should respond to undertuned classes like Priest with just as much urgency though.

Played 43 games and won once with Galakrond shamen. It is observably useless with zero possibility of winning against all decks.

lol at Shaman players in this thread moaning that they can't win as much with their utterly degenerate netdeck. My heart bleeds for you.
You suck. That’s why.
