I feel like everyone is just complaining about the new Cards. Am i the only one that is positive surprised about DoD? I mean okay Shaman is busted but they already announced balance changes coming in next week. Ungoro and KotfT were the last Expansions i realy enjoyed. I played all the other following ones but not for long because i realy disliked them. DoD is the first one i realy enjoy since a while now but i guess thats because im a aggro player and aggro was nearly unplayable for a long time now. I hope they do good Balance Changes and dont touch the Cards for the current Pirate Warrior.
I'm totally biased because my favorite deck right now is actually capable of beating Shaman, but the variety of decks I've seen is actually pretty cool.
That, and it's a shockingly positive sign that Blizzard has decided to take corrective action so soon regarding the preponderance of a single class.

Nope, you're not alone. I'm actually really enjoying this set (and for the record: I refuse to play Shaman until the fix it, in cause anyone was wondering ;)
Fav deck right now has to be Quest Hunter. I was playing it a lot before Dod. It got some good support this go around. There are other really fun decks out there to explore as well. Yes, Galakrond Shaman is annoying, but good on Blizz for such a quick response.
I'm also having fun since I really like playing Highlander Hunter, and there are some good additions and stuff to try. I don't do that much ranked though so I don't get bored of facing shaman all the time.
I'm enjoying it, and not just pulverizing people with aggro shaman. Control dragon warlock with reciprocal damage and healing tools is actually REALLY powerful and good against shaman decks. With 2x Hellfire and 2x Crazed Netherwing as AoEs, along with 2x Nether Breath, you can deal 20 face damage to the opponent, while clearing the board and only taking 4 face damage (once healing is accounted for). If they are a class that can't heal, you can just sit back and control the board, while waiting for a chance to finish them. Also, with 2x Twisting Nether you can easily save one to clear the Galakrond Shaman's inevitable 24/24 power spike.
Youre not, its just that the whiners are more vocal
Sadly so! I've got a good feeling and some fun (pirate warrior (normally don't like aggro decks), Gala Rogue, quest hunter, Holy wrath paladin) and I'm eagerly waiting for the announced nerf to see what direction this will take...
So far, so good (even if I sometimes get mad at a shaman player ;-P
Just for once I actually believe that the wagoners, me one of them, is just loudest. However I would love to play my new decks, just not racing shaman 3/4 of all matches.
Edit: I’ve stopped playing regular games until the patch hits
I just did my daily quests until now because shaman, now the expansion hit, and wahted to play more and i'm hit in the face with the same shit levels of bullshit, grossly overpowered decks and fucking insane levels or RNG, fuck this, the game FEELS the same when played every single year, every single deck, every single expansion. So no, i'm not enjoying HS one bit anymore. I'll just do a daily quest asap via playing a card and conceding when the quest log is full just because i see them when playing BG, but if they don't fix rafaam i'm quitting blizz altogether.
I had enough with their shit company, if WC3RE is any good i'll pirate it, fuck em.
Two days ago I was tilting at rank 1 because everything was shaman. Then I decided to abandon climbing and just have fun. Fell all the way to rank 4 playing highlander dragon pally, but having a blast doing so. I take losses in stride and wins are so much fun.
I've been having tons of fun as well! Best expansion in a loooong time. Yes, Shaman is too strong and Faceless Corrupter is annoying, but there is so many different, weird decks to explore that it doesn't really matter. I've been playing four different Warlock decks in the last couple of days: Galakrond Zoo, Handlock, Questlock, Highlander - I can't remember the last time I could choose between so many different archetypes for just one class!

I absolutely love it. I'm enjoying shaman, zoo and pirate warrior with some experimentation with treant and ramp druid.

I believe this belongs in the Pepper thread: https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/85137-the-pepper-thread-share-your-good-vibes?page=348
JK! But if have Salt Police, why not Pepper Police, too? Why not just reduce the forum to two threads? ;0

Really enjoying playing mill rogue in wild. Best fun for a long time ;)

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!
#FireMikeDonais
Best expansion since they gave us albatross, faceless corruptor and hoard pillager
I am also having great time with Galakrond Warrior, Handlock and Highlander Mage.
Having great results against Galakroond Shaman with these...
It's a very good expansion. Made 11 decks already
It's a good expansion. The best expansion since 2017 if you ask me but the whiners will never be happy no matter what.
I actually really enjoy it as well
