thanks blizzard for screwing al the people that have crafted cards for shit Maybe test expansions before you release 4 different metas in 2/3 weeks its ridicilous
If you have crafted cards that get nerfs, you will usually be able to dust them for the original amount. You haven't lost anything.
As for the meta, having a meta that evolves quickly can be a good thing and makes a nice change from the stale meta we had previously - just look at how many people stopped playing last expansion due to the overwhelming surge of Shaman decks.
uhmm no you dont get the dust back for all cards effected by nerf only for the card they actual nerf As example what they did when shudderwock shamaan get nerfed only they did it with changing the saronite so you got the dust for saronite but not for the shudderwock and that card was bad after that nerf at te time So blizzard gonna nerf 2 cards from shamaan they gonna nerf it dead so al the other cards you have craft for the deck are kind of useles Also having a meta that evolves quikly is not nice 4 metas in 3 weeks is idiot You dont even have time to adjust to meta or prac for tournaments because its changing and changing and changing
I wonder if the balance changes imply some buffs as well? Priest is in an extremely lame state right now, they can still only play combo priest to be truly competitive.
Yes they gonna nerf that cancer Shaman. Good descision by blizzard. Hopefully it will be a good nerf that the balance is back. 8 out of 10 games is against that cancer....it's nog fun that way
Good call by Blizzard, we don't want Shaman dominating two cycles.
That said, their in-house testing must be trash. Anyone with half a brain could have spotted that Shaman would be OP.
Or maybe their in house testers just don't suck like the forum guys and actually took the time to learn how to beat it?
Or maybe you should educate yourself by looking at the HSReplay statistics. It is objectively over-tuned.
Maybe you should educate yourself about statistics as well. A relatively small testing team is obviously much less effective than the data provided by milions of players.
Galakrond battlecry from 2/2-4/4-8/8 to 2/2-3/3-4/4 Elemental Rush minions. Becasuse, it isn't hard for Shaman to invoke the Galakrond 4 times by that point, and at Turn 9, I've seen 4 8/8 Rush minions multiple times. If they are worried about Quest Hero Power + Galakrond, make it 9 mana maybe. It breaks uniformity though. I wouldn't change it.
Also, I would nerf 5 mana guy which invokes Galakrond twice. Either invoke once, or it is 7 mana. No way it is balanced like this. It is a battlecry, so it works toward the quest completion, and if the quest is already completed, she is invoke Galakrond fully for 5 mana, which is ridiculous.
Changes aimed at Shaman but none mentioned for Priest. It is just sad to see they only look at what is too good and not what is too bad to be playable.
If you have a class that has a win% of less than 40%, it needs serious help.
Problem is that quest effect is infinite. In cards game, there should never be anything like infinite value cards. I would love HS to be 30 vs 30 cards. No DKs, no OTKs, no fckn neverending hero powers, Elysianas, Jades... thats just a bullshit mechanics. So yeah, nerf incoming is great but it will be the same after a while.

Yeah, remove combo decks... That would make the game fun, with nothing to check control decks.
Mogu is almost certainly getting a nerf. TBH I'm surprised it didn't happen before the release given that they basically said they were nerfing it. 9 mana maybe? That way the 8 drop isn't happening on Turn 3 or 4.
I imagine Elementalist is bumped to 6 mana. That way you can't Coin+Elementalist into Dragon's Pack.
I think Faceless Corruptor also receives a mana increase. I wonder if it'll go to 7, like Giggling Inventor.
Wouldn't be surprised if that's all we see happen.
I'm normally not a big fan of early in the expansion nerfs. These are not normal times. Shaman is completely BrokeBack. Thank you, Blizzard, for addressing this sooner rather than later.
I can’t remember anyone spotting it during reveal period? I mean I said somewhere shaman got both got the best galakrond and best invoke cards so it should be good, but I didn’t think it would be this bad either.
Also “maybe learn how to beat it” sounds ridiculous when devs have already decided it should be nerfed after three days.
I think they might have had an inkling it would be op, by the way. Maybe That’s why shaman was revealed so late.
vicioussyndicate called it OP in their review
also they built the exact decklist thats on hs replay, so yeah, it was a pretty obvious deck

The consensus is this Galakrond is the strongest, and the consensus is correct. It is the only Galakrond the features both resource generation and removal as its hero power and battle cry. It also got the best Invoke support for reasons I can’t understand.
Shaman
Give the best class the best set? Okay!
Shaman’s only problem is that it has too many Tier 1 options. It has the best Galakrond. It has arguably the best Aggro package. It has arguably the best quest. And there’s overlap between them, which can allow you to tweak either deck to the metagame. Galakrond can be played with quest. Overload can be played with quest. Galakrond can be played with overload, etc.
Corrupt Elementalist is so good that I think if the effect were neutral (3/3 summon 2x 2/1 with rush) it would be a nerf candidate. We’ve had this effect before, but not with the ability to split the damage and control where it lands. Dragon’s Pack makes Oasis Surger look quaint. Also, it gives ridiculous defensive potential to a deck that absolutely does not need or deserve it. Invocation of Frost is Glacial Shard with rush. This whole package is stupid.
Faceless Corruptor – 4 - I think we are going to see an insane amount of this card. Anything that plays lackeys or tokens (and probably even pirates) can abuse the heck out of it. It also has some interesting (I’m not scared yet) applications with Shudderwock.
Hopefully nerfs will hit Shudderwock HARD. The combo with Faceless Corruptor and Baristy Lynchen generating even more copies of itself is disgusting.
Lol you must have missed the Grumble Shudder meta. Infinite shudders and they all costed 1 after the first one.
salty shaman pleb players icoming.
i also feel happy for all the poor souls that get triggered by another thread they don‘t have to read.
funny thing is, those are the same people that say you dont have to play if you don‘t like the game. hypocrite much.
Thank God. Maybe i dont have to quit after all.

happy this will happen means i can play more decks at top level

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

Had to create a new profile because "something" went wrong with Hearthpwn!! Lost all my shit and they couldn't fix it they say!
Shame on you Heartpwn in these digital days!!
Oh yeah.….and FUCK Brainless Aggro
Maybe you should educate yourself about statistics as well. A relatively small testing team is obviously much less effective than the data provided by milions of players.
My take on nerfs;

Brah, Blizzard just said it themself, they gonna nerf it, so it was busted.
Changes aimed at Shaman but none mentioned for Priest.

your joking right priest was top dock for a long time iwth that no brain combo priest so let them please be dead for a while
Yeah, remove combo decks... That would make the game fun, with nothing to check control decks.

Considering how fast is reaction...they really screwed up with shaman and its power lvl.
vicioussyndicate called it OP in their review

From my review:
