Never in the history of HS have I hated an expansion, never. Never have I hated a meta that was unfair or even annoying, but the amount of decks that are aggravating beyond belief and make me lose my fun after so many years is staggering.
I am this close to uninstall this game for good and never return.
Meta is not healthy. There are too many win-more cards. It is all about matchups, games are won or lost based on your opponent's class. I dont think they will try to fix it any time soon. #FeelsBadMan
the team is already going to release a balance patch next week with nerfs to primarily shaman (according to the articles on hearthPWN anyway) and I think they will continue to roll out balance fairly quickly to make sure nothing has a winrate that's too high. hopefully the game will be in a better state soon.
there allways make the last expansions of the year insane becouse many will not buy alot becouse its the last so it only here for 1 year and 4 morths where the first of the year is here for 2 year
Maybe, it is just me, but I find it hard to cope with all that buffed minions with the ability to buff other minions that buff the hero who buffs minions.
It seems as if silences, removals, board clears have to be put in, but, they clog my deck for those sweet buff the buff the buffed cards, so, I just swim along, craft the most broken deck, after the hammer-fall, and venture on.
Relax... Only 3 days have passed since expansion release and it is expected to see a couple of archetypes owning the meta. It is indeed a bit overwhelming what happens with Shammns currently but soon things will start to get better.
Apart from the nerfs announced community is yet to build up new meta while experimenting.
Blizzard has proven time after time, especially during the last couple of years, that they dislike archetypes that have more than 55% win ratio in standard. Thus, they will soon make whatever changes are need to reach this status.
What i hope whatsoever is to have more than 2 or 3 archetypes at 55 - 58% win ratio in order to make standard interesting to get involved with.
And something last.
It seems that Blizzard tries to have "Class Eras" since Witchwood was released. We've had Druid Era, Hunter era, Warrior Era, Paladin Era and recently Shamman Era (i might be forgetting some here). We also witness at the same time, archetypes which had previous powerful periods (like Priest, Warlock and Mage) being forced to T3 or T2 decks at best. Eventualy they will make the needed changes in order to bring back these classes to the foreground either through balance changes/ nerfs or through the release of a new expansion.

This is what happen when they try to make powerful cards. The game became BROKEN.
It's worse than that. If you love playing paladin like me. Every class got powerful cards BUT paladin. I'm either going to have to play in another mode or learn to love another class for the time being.
I think the problem is that now we have just too many ridiculous blow out turns. If you don't have the right answer to it you simply loose.
I guess they think that people enjoy this and of course the winner feels good about it (Tho sometimes it almost feels like cheating). But the problem is that it feels very bad and frustrating for the one losing.
I kinda miss the (very) old times where games were often quite close and so even when losing you felt that you had a chance and that improving your play style might allow you a win next time. Now you often feel like you had no chance winning at all and that you might just go and play something else.

Vote for my Card Design Submission! I love this one!
This is what happens when you give the community what it wants. HS players complained about weak expansions, well here you go. You reap what you sew.

Dead but dreaming
if every class is broken the game is fine and balanced LUL Kappa
somehow card games are almost always doomed to fail into an expansion like this being just blatantly too strong
they have to sell the new stuff but how do you do that while managing to keep the balance in check?
powercreep is almost a certain result at some point....
What happened to good old expansions like whispers of the old gods and un’goro ;-;
