Everything that related to Invokes with Shaman is way over power.
The only class with double invokes.
1 Mana Freeze spell that invoke and summon a 2_1 rush.
When Invoke was introduced, I thought those Invokes would have some kind of disadvantage. I didn't know that it also add a Galakrond hero power. This make it more like an advantage for Shaman.
Im slowly changing my mind about shaman and I think it needs nerfs. They can do everything in the game too well. Play wide, tall, tempo, value, AoE, direct damage, heal, draw, card generation.
I think Fleshshaper is too good, the synergy between Galakrond, Shudderwock and all the invoke cards is too much. Dragon's Pack is ridiculous value (4 mana 10/12! Oh btw two bodies with taunt).
Your only chance at the moment is to go aggro and tbh they'll just start running AoE in their tech slots.
Not sure how I'd nerf... make Fleshshaper 5 mana 3/3 and remove rush? Make Corrupt Elementalist a deathrattle? Remove rush from the Galakrond minions or make them 6/6?
Funny how many secretly shaman players here are crying saying that the deck is fine. Ahahah they are afraid blizzard will do an early nerf as they did to galaxy after uldum release. Sorry but there wont be easy legend for u bozos

i really don't see how players didn't already hit legend after 2 days of playing galakrond shaman.
God these threads are quite irritating, no shaman does not need nerfs, not quest not galakrond. What does is faceless corruptor, but really that's not really needed
Absolutely incorrect. 2/1 w/ rush on double invoke is insane. 8/8s with rush are insane. Shuddering them back is insane. Mogu mutate is insane. The whole class has absolutely no weakness, clearly proven by the data from the first two days of the patch.

srsly, make Fleshshaper a 3 mana 3/3 with rush (like Rabid Worgen), corrupt elementalist 6 mana, make the galakrond minions 1/1 and the battlecry of galakrond summon 4 2/2s instead of 2 8/8s. and make galakrond cost 10 mana.
I've gotta say, I don't know how Blizzard didn't see this coming. Make Shaman the de-facto Battlecry class, then make Shaman one of the evil classes that will get a strong series of Battlecry dragons.
So much for "Descent of Dragons." The top deck doesn't even need to play a dragon. I guess Galakrond is a dragon, but he doesn't even have a Dragon tag and just a hero card. More like "Death of Dragons" to me. All these high flying dragons getting smacked left and right by the Lackeys and the Elementals.
Basically same as always. The First good deck shows up, and anyone wants to reach legend fast so they copy it instead of making some own ideas. I'd wait a few days, and rewatch the popularity.
Changes I'd probably make for the health of the overall game:
Quest reward applies to your next minion battlecry only. Not every battlecry played this turn. I'd say maybe reduce the requirement slightly to compensate, but it's already pretty low.
Corrupt Elementalist could be a 4/5 that invokes once. That's still pretty strong. You can fully invoke Galakrond with the quest & Corrupt Elementalist and I just think that's silly. Every other class has to work so hard to upgrade their Galakrond (and their battlecries are much weaker).
I think that keeps shaman strong but reduces the high roll power of a lot of what they have.
I think Faceless Corruptor could probably do with a nerf too tbh.

The dumb part is the 4x 8/8 with rush leading into Shudderwock. And that is only just as broken as the 5 mana 2x 5/6 with Taunt.
Why did someone think Shaman needed all of this?

just destroy the archetype for christ sake
I mean they need to make invoke not a battlecry for starters

For people who are in denial (denial is a defense mechanism in which a person, faced with a painful fact, rejects the reality of that fact.)

yes
They need to nerf double invoke, because its too broken with quest, or without it can invoke fully for 10 mana

Smartest nerf is to change the hero power. 2/1 rush is too strong. Would be an indirect nerf to all the invoke cards for Shaman.
