I know that shaman is very strong but you could change your deck. I was playing galakronk rogue and I was crushed by shamans but I changed my deck to treant druid and now I have a very good winrate against shamans
<image of shaman win rate versus each class>
81% vs druids... i really want you to link your special druid deck that beats shaman that easy...
There are at least three Druid archetypes right now, so the win rate vs the class as a whole is meaningless.
well just link em ANY druid deck that beats shaman i would LOVE to play it
The ability to play 4 8/8s in a single turn just shouldn't exist, it's bad for the game.
There are ways to change it while keeping Galakrond and Shaman relevant and good.
You could literally just have the Shaman hero power only apply to minions, not really adversely effect the game, and remove that interaction completely.
I guess in wild, Jade Claws would be affected, and all those super common Hero Power into Hagatha and Splitting Axe plays that are so fun and ubiquitous would be brought to an end.
Don't take statistics based on two days of experimentation as an universal true. Warlock seems to be one of the easiest matchups for Shamans, however many Handlock builds just crush Galakrond Shaman. With my version of Quest Plot Handlock I'm currently 10-3 against Shamans, and it is also performing good against other classes.
But still the expansion just launched and the meta still needs to find its way.
So you're saying all i have to do is save removals?? Wow man, I never thought of that! You so smart, you solved shaman with a single post! You smart you a genius.
Depends on the deck you are playing but the shaman deck is not that strong
i see everyone complaining about galakrond shaman but their entire game plan is around 2/4 8\8s what everyone can easily beat playing an aggressive deck (killing before the galakrond) or a control deck (killing the 8/8s until you have enough value)
that deck is not even that strong people just don’t know how to save removals anymore

Wondering - how on earth you can put hope in Control Mage? How can mage beat 4 8/8 with 5/2 weapon??
Yes, it is early, decks are not refined. So is Shaman. It evolves, and becomes stronger, it knows already how to incorporate quest - instead of trying to use Galakrond package in quest build.
It has to be nerfed very fast and not a one card nerf will be enough.
Zephyrs and Malygos Flamestrike say high. I’ve been running Reno dragon mage. My only losses to shaman have been in the early game vs an overload variant. Late game mage can make actual threats without relying on a one off battlecry.
My experience is it's easy to steam roll mage with shaman if I get galakrond early, I can kill them before they can stabilize. If I draw bad then yeah mage can be a pain. Still would think shaman us favored overall
I always hope the shamans get Galakrond early because then I don’t have to worry about double battlecries. I don’t know how you’re suppose to steamroll them when they’ve got board control for days. Maybe you’re playing Reno mages that are trying to be tempo mages
"Shaman is not that strong" win statistics say otherwise. People trying to defend shaman in hopes of it not being nerfed, kind of funny.
And when Priest, Warlock, Mage or Druid are the OP classes from time to time and they not get a single nerf when they were at the top. But if Shaman is top all the crybabies with PTSD because of Midrange Shaman are crying and screaming at the monitor for a nerf. Kind of funny.
i agree with OP!! you cry for nerfs instead of trying to beat it
Meanwhile the dev team itself has confirmed shaman is getting nerfed.
Sorry but if u were enjoying the free wins u better make the most of it now. Ur days of getting free wins are over shaman lover. Ahahahahaah. Don cry urself to sleep now
Really? Someone in the tests before release need to be fired, HearthStone always have balance problems but this one was the worst of all time.
Priest get random minions you barely have time to play one or two vs many frees 2/1 rush in board? Rogue get random cards free (sometimes you draw backstab) and shaman two freaking 8/8 rush? All invoke cards shaman have are busted and undercosted with 0 tempo loss? Common, only 5 games in tests will show how unbalanced the classes are, how they failed so badly this time?
well just link em ANY druid deck that beats shaman i would LOVE to play it

I joke a lot, if you take anything I say seriously, well, shame on you :p
I play shaman right now.
And I can tell, it is broken hahaha.
Yeah it is ridiculous tho

Imagine if they release a 5/5 charge pirate for 1 mana to warrior, you will say "the meta needs to find its way"?
Of course not, pirate warrior will be invencible.
The 5 manas 3/3 + 2/1 rush + 2/1 rush + job done for another broken card in a single slot is the most powerful card ever release in this game.
Nothing compares, not even prenerf Patches and Creeper.
2 days of statistics that have yielded thousands of games is a good enough sample size to rate the power level of the deck.

this is the deck, even tho if u have flik u should sub him in for nomi (most of the time ends up being just a 0 mana 6/6)

its not strong or what ever but hey it's getting nerfed so it's raining dust that's all i care about give me that dust
Has the OP looked at HSReplay statistics? Because if he has, and he understands them, then Shaman is objectively OP. There is no discussion.
>Win statistics say otherwise
You mean the statistics that show it losing 8% winrate in 2 days?
And when Priest, Warlock, Mage or Druid are the OP classes from time to time and they not get a single nerf when they were at the top. But if Shaman is top all the crybabies with PTSD because of Midrange Shaman are crying and screaming at the monitor for a nerf. Kind of funny.

Nerfs incoming, official statement just released.
Laughing at the "let's have one or two more months of this to collect enough data" comments...
Let's just hope Faceless Corruptor isn't skipped.
"is not that strong guys"
gets nerfed within a week
fuck logic
