I’m playing with a Galakrond Rogue and a Handlock and for both decks Galakrond Shaman is my easiest match-up with both. Just save your AOE for the 4 8/8 turn and then win the game.
'save your AOE' while playing Galakrond rogue. what AOE do you have in mind sir?
Galakrond shaman only has 3 matchups near 50% win rate out of the most played decks so far and they are quest hunter, holy wrath pally and galakrond shaman. Everything else is around 60 or higher. Yes people are still refining deck lists and learning the matchup but it’s still going to stay strong. I’m glad to see people trying to make decks work and trying to counter op decks but that doesn’t mean shaman is not op. It is. And I’d really like to try out fun new decks instead of just trying to play a couple counter decks because shaman is everywhere.
There is little to no reason not to play Galakrond and Quest together. The invokes generates a crapton of value with the rush minions, you literally need to play only one Elementalist to max Galakrond and in the mean time your opponent is having a bad time dealing with all elementals and lackey value you are throwing at him with the looming threat of 4 giants at any time. All I did was to swap out the lackey totem, champs and gigglings for the elementalists, manics and galakrond himself.
Hsreplay says galakrond shamans not running quest win around 6-7% more of the time. Dw though apparently the non quest versions still win 80% of the time that they play galakrond. Insane but the stats don’t lie.
I have a quest and try the deck myself, it is just insane, playing with shaman now feels like using a cheat code, it is disgusting overpowered, so pathetic easy I get bored pretty quick.
Lose only a single game vs pirate warrior because the player get the GODLY starting hand and that is it.
Anyone defending this BS is because is afraid to lose the free wins.
Omg, revolutionary!! All you have to do is save your board clear for their one turn were they play galakrond!! Wow, I never have thought of that! You're a genius man, pure genius. You found the counter to a tier 0 deck with a super high win rate, you deserve a medal. I and the rest of the hearthstone community will now "stfu". Thanks bro!
You know the sad part? All other games I have is the most fun I have in years, with the exception of the overpowered, totally busted shaman the other decks are nice to play with or against.
Blizzard need to hit shaman with nerf hammer very hard and very fast.
i totally agree. The meta feels like the good old day of hearthstone where everything is slower and more fair. I hope they nerf it quick cause I'm already starting to lose interest in the game after facing shaman that often.
So instead of raging without understanding, I played the non quest version of this deck. After about 15 games, (I know it's not a huge sample) I can say this :
-you'll beat the quest version constantly,it's way too slow
-you'll lose to mirror if they draw better (obvious)
-that's all folks, you'll beat pretty much anything else unless you're incredibly unlucky. I won easily hero powering until turn four, to outrageously come from behind. Crushes aggro, and outvalue control.
Usual t5 Undertaker/Secret paladin design level: nothing really new. It's either incompetence in design/testing, or one the most ingenious milking strategy in digital games to date. Started playing 1 month before Naxx, and so far, it's been the same shitshow every.single.expansion.

Author is like "I've beat him once! Stop complain!"
Plague of Flames LULW
Dragon control warrior easily beats it. But no one wants to play it.
well, for those that are complaining.
Galakrond Shaman sits at 62.6% win rate, while the next best deck is at 57.2.
ppl have all the right to complain. metrics don't lie.
It's because Galakrond Shaman is easy to build and to play and people have no clue how to build other decks correctly.
lol, 67% WR Galakrond shaman. Thread starter is not the brightest. Will be nerfed.
I know things are still shaking out, but according to HsReplay the worst matchup is Holy Wrath Paladin: 49.41%, lol
Look at all that green!

Can confirm.
I decide to concede all the games vs shaman and play only the fun ones and is the best experience in HS I have in years.
The only bad part is concede 5 or 6 times before my games start...
