Which class do you feel will come out as the dominant class of the DoD meta, once the dust settles?
I think (though I hope I am wrong) that my favorite class, Rogue, is in for a bit of a rough meta. It feels too slow right now with the tools that are coming. On day one tomorrow, I'm predicting we will see a LOT of Pirate Galakrond Warrior steamrolling everyone. Long term, i think it's going to be a Shaman-owned meta.
I am a Rogue main myself and In my opinion this class got some pretty powerful tools in the upcoming expansion. Although I am not sure if other classes such as Shaman or Warrior will be a bit better I think that Rogue deffinitely has a chance to have a Tier 1 deck especially with cards such as Necrium Apothecary which has the potential to lead the class to its glory only by itself. Just think of it as Tip the Scales - if you drew it exactly on time you would instantly win the game (that's how powerful I think it is). And for that reason Murloc Paladin was top leader for some time. In this case even Galakrond Rogue turns to be bad (which in my opinion is certainly not) or just any other Rogue card becomes useless (there is no way btw, there are some serious tempo cards out there) thanks to our lord and saviour Necrium Apothecary it is really likely for the class to follow the same path of Paladin.
It just straight up will be shaman, at least early on. The writing is already on the wall. The already established best class is getting the better tools than the rest. I'm not saying nothing else will be unplayable and hat not, but many classes requires rebuilding. Shaman will just get improved upon so not only will it be upper strong but there's very little trial and error as the bulk of quest shaman is already established.
Mage seems very overpowered with insanely good cards for an aggressive elemental deck. It finally got the cards it was looking for in Elemental Allies, Violet Spelling, Chenvaala, and Fire Hawk. I say aggressive and I say finally because mage has been receiving a ridiculous number of tools for aggro elementals in past expansions that were just more spread out - Elemental Allies, Mana Cyclone for elemental synergies and cards like Stargazer Luna and Ancient Mysteries for just plain aggro. I think shaman is still strong, but mage looks stronger.
Shaman and Warrior are going to run most of the early metagame over until somebody develops a control package that can stop them (probably in mage or priest).
Shaman, no doubt, that is until Shudderwock eventually bites the dust (nerf bat)
Tempo Roque already feels like a really unfair deck as well with the addition of Necrium Apothecary with Necrium Blade, , and Priest always finds ways to come up with a anti-proactive / destructive douchebag list that relys on stalling and punishing whatever the opponent is trying to accomplish.
Meanwhile Paly players probably got the shaft this expansion.
Galakrond Tempo Rogue seems really promising. You can make huge minions with the guy that gives you 3 coins + Edwin / QA. Also after you galakrond, turn 10 Kronx + shadowstep into Kronx is a 10 mana 10 damage possible finisher (in case you didn't draw Leeroy). If you are lucky to draw Kronx with Galakrond you can even do 20 dmg with spirit of the shark + free Kronx + shadowstep into Kronx for only 8 mana. The possibilities are endless.
I think zoolock is under the radar. Swarming the board every turn, never running out of fuel with the guy that draws 3 and the legendary that draws four (I actually think is good for aggro as well).
Finally, I put some money on dragon Reno Mage. Great supports, Malygos is incredibly strong, so are Alexstrasza, the new 1 mana spell and the dragon that make cost your next spell 0. Ah, and the dragon that adds 2 random 1 mana spell to your hand: Mage has some of the best.
I disagree mage will be near bottom tier again. Cyclone mage didn't work with flamewaker, it won't work now with chenvaala, etc. Hope I'm wrong though, I suppose it will be fun to play 6 Mana pyroblast
Well everyone's only seeing pirate warrior, but i'm totally hyped for the Control package. Some shenanigans with deathwing,rush-invoke-3-mana-drake, dragonbreeder, bankers and even barista :D Then there is going to be a midrange version too. We're gonna see 3 warrior decks probably, which will be hard for otheres to detect in the mulligan. Shildbreakers aren't really hurting the warrior tbh. As i said in another thread; Warriors won't kill you with stacking armor. There will be some mad losses, because your opponent topdecked breaker after u got like 10-15 armor, but in most cases, it will deal a maximum of like 5-8 dmg.

tbh nobody will run Shildbreaker, since Control warrior won't appear a lot in ranked, when you got so many broken (and much faster) decks out there. there are certainly other cards that WILL see nerf due to busted combo potential.
Simple question,

What are your thoughts?
Roses are red, violets are blue, fuck Shaman
Dranzerr#2178
Shaman and Mage
shaman and mage
Zoo Warlock, Face Hunter, and Murloc Shaman... at least for tomorrow, when jerks are mining the experimental period for free wins.
Big Ol' Whelp Rogue
Warlock + Warrior

Don't know about the class as a whole, but I think the Priest Galakrond Hero is the strongest of the bunch.
Combo priest
Shaman and Warrior.
Rogue will do some funny stuff but will be nerfed in a month.
