Below are what I believe to be the most powerful cards in the set and will see the most play (1 being the best). What are yours?
1. Galakrond, the Tempest - Shaman has the best Invoke cards AND the best Invoke effect. Corrupt Elementalist, Invocation of Frost, and Dragon's Pack are EASILY being slept on and will be an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Combining this with the Quest is more than viable and will become a frustrating feat to overcome when you summon four 8/8 elementals with Rush from your Hero Power. I don't think Shaman is going anywhere next expansion.
2. Kronx Dragonhoof - There's going to be tons of decks that run Galakrond. I see no reason to not run this. It has good stats, draws your win condition, and provides a powerful effect of YOUR CHOICE when you play it properly. It's absolutely incredible how versatile it can be. It reminds me of Twin Emperor Vek'lor; if you're running C'Thun, you ran Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Same deal here. If you run Galakrond, you're putting Kronx Dragonhoof in the same deck.
3. Corrosive Breath - Hunter is going to be a strong and aggressive force this time around. Cards like this will make Highlander Hunters drop the Secret package for the Dragon package. This spell offers control and SMOrc damage at the same time for such a low cost. The only stipulation is that you have to run the powerful Dragons that were announced this expansion. Sign me up.
4. Squallhunter - Remember Flamewreathed Faceless? I think this is even better. 4-mana 7/7 was extremely powerful, but turn four never really NEEDED all 7 attack points. I believe 5 would have always sufficed. Sacrificing +2 attack points for +2 Spell Damage and a dragon tag is a small price to pay, if even a price to pay at all. This is ESPECIALLY amazing with all the OP Dragon synergy cards and high AoE spells like Lightning Breath. Large amounts of removal and a threatening 5/7 body to boot is going to be a showstopper.
5. Elemental Allies - With Elementals like Violet Spellwing and Mana Cyclone, it makes this Sidequest very easy to pull off. Getting such a high reward for something Mages are going to do anyways puts them in a solid spot during the late game. This is a perfect fit in the Mana Cyclone deck.
6. Stormhammer - At first I thought this card was overrated. Then, I saw all of the streamers using this as incentive to build a Dragon deck and I'm now jumping on the bandwagon. Having two durability is a huge deal. This gives you the option to swing for three damage without a Dragon in your hand and still have other weapon swings while you wait to draw the minion you need. This can easily total up to 21 to 24 damage and works with the other powerful dragons that Hunter got this expansion like Veranus.
7. Dragonqueen Alexstrasza - This is an incredibly powerful reason to run a singleton deck. There are so many powerful dragons you can add to your hand that are bound to turn the tide in some way, shape, or form. Plus, they'll cost ZERO. The stats those added cards have alone will be worth it. Throw this alongside Zephrys the Great and one of the explorers and you have quite a number of powerful options in your deck to win.
8. Breath of Dreams - Dragons in Druid looks pretty strong, thus making a pretty viable deck. This card will undoubtedly be run, since it's basically just a better Wild Growth and that card had to be nerfed.
9. Malygos, Aspect of Magic – This will pretty much be in every Mage deck. A Dragon tribe minion with great stats that offers you a great card of your choice is what any mid-game needs. This alongside the other powerful Dragon/Spell cards that Mage got this expansion will synergize quite well.
10. Kobold Stickyfinger – Unconventional choice, but I think this is a very valid tech card. Cards like Stormhammer, Ancharrr, and the weapon that every Galakrond gets are going to be consistently played. This card will offer a massive tempo swing when you need it the most in what looks like a pretty aggressive META. I think everybody will be running at least one copy of this.
Poacher just omega punishes your opponent for playing dragons, Apothecary lets you play Mechanical Whelp and Waxadred in tempo rogue and stormhammer is just ridiculous.
1. Ancharrr - If Pirate Warrior is making a comeback, it will be thanks to this card. Drawing 3 or 4 pirates with Greenskin in top of dealing damage is absurd. The main issue with Pirate Warrior was running out of pirate, it shouldn't happen no more with this weapon and the new pirate.
2. Kronx Dragonhoof - I believe Galakrond will be in a lot of deck, and in every deck having Galakrond, this card will be autoinclude. The devastation are so broken that you may even want to wait to be Galakrond to play this and win the game.
3. Dragonqueen Alexstrasza - Highlanders decks are already strong in current meta. With this, it add an another wincondition for free. Playing this on curve is almost auto win, as most dragons are big. And you get 2 of them ? Zephrys + Dragonqueen is enough reason to play highlander now.
4. Frizz Kindleroost - Another neutral legendary. If dragons deck become popular, it will naturally fit in them. Good stat for his cost and very good battlecry without downside. Decks with lot of draw will love to play it on turn 4.
5. Parachute Brigand - Weird choice here, but imagine playing Pirate Warrior, and having Sky Raider + 2 Parachute Brigand in hand. Your opponent is conceding turn 1. Not happening every game of course, but it will certainly boost the winrate of this deck.
6. Scalerider - Assuming dragons deck are good, this card is another autoinclude. It help you fighting early game and gaining the board back before playing your dragons. Best 3 drop in the game.
7. Surging Tempest - A fair version of Tunnel Trogg. Having another 1 playable drop is huge for Aggro Shaman, and this being an elemental mean you can curve well with Earthen Might and seize the board early and push damage.
8. Squallhunter - An unfair version of Flamewreathed Faceless. 7 health on turn 4 mean that it will surely last for 1 turn at least, which mean you can abuse that spell power, specially in Aggro Shaman.
9. Sky Raider - Simple but great card. Perfect 1 drop for Pirate Warrior. Remember how Small-Time Buccaneer strong was ? Well, Sky Raider is his little brother.
10. Diving Gryphon - Not flashy but very effective card in Hunter. You already play some rush minion so it fit naturally in every Hunter deck since it's also a beast.
Making this list was very hard since there is a lot of strong cards in the set, I think some cards will be more powerful than the one listed in my list, but I opt the safe option and choose the cards that will certainly see play.
I think Faceless Corruptor is better than Corridor Creeper, it's going to break the meta in half over its knee like Christian Bale. Then it'll be nerfed, with the expansion will coming out shortly after, changing everything. If you think that won't happen, you're not paying attention. Tech for aggro, or be the aggro.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
5. Parachute Brigand - Weird choice here, but imagine playing Pirate Warrior, and having Sky Raider + 2 Parachute Brigand in hand. Your opponent is conceding turn 1. Not happening every game of course, but it will certainly boost the winrate of this deck.
I never even thought about this, wow that's scary.
For Druids, Ysera, Unleashed. Druid will play it earlier than 9, and then 7 dragons for free is no small value. Specially in a class that has Floop and Elise for near infinite value.
Goru the Mightree Would be worth experimenting with a slower Token Druid. With Forest's Aid and Whispering Woods + Soul of the Forest and the amount of token generation Druid could go near fatigue generating boards. Now this, with Floop and Elise to trigger the Battlecry multiple times would see a single Forest's Aid be really big, over and over again (and can be copied with Elise too).
Veranus has a big body with accessible cost, really powerful effect, specially with the amount of big things and taunts in the set. Can be used defensively with Explosive Trap too.
For Mage, I don't see how Dragoncaster will not play a major part for Mage, even in a burn deck. It can throw a Pyroblast on 6 and leave a 4/4 on the board. With Coin and luck we are back to Pocket Galaxy at 5. Even just Power of Creation or Puzzle Box is insane.
Rolling Fireball is a very interesting mid-cost removal Mage was really needing. It can hit a big thing or plenty of small ones. And a turn before Reno, if Highlander. Malygos, Aspect of Magic provides awesome cards as well. Arcane Breath just isn't perfect because it doesn't also freeze, but it's removal and more value as well. I don't know what to think of Chenvaala. Yes, Mage can do it, but will it able to hold on until it can do it? I don't see it as a win condition by itself, maybe being part of the deck as an extra threat.
For Paladin, Dragonrider Talritha, almost Val'anyr for dragons. Lightforged Crusader opens a very interesting archetype, even if it doesn't see play until more expansions come, same for Lightforged Zealot. But to be fair, I'm not putting much faith in Paladin... others classes seem to do with way more absurd stuff when you compare cards individually.
For Priest, I think it got the best Galakrond. AOE non-targeted removal in a slow set with a lot of big and valuable things and a hero power to keep generating resources? Breath of the Infinite and Chronobreaker as enemy only AOE? Chronobreaker can get reborn easily with the class. Fate Weaver is Thaurissan for Priest only, and I'm assuming Murozond the Infinite can play opponent's Galakronds, fill your hand with the Mage's Mana Cyclone and so on.
For Rogue, Waxadred can be easily abused, even in the set itself with Necrium Apothecary and Stowaway. Candle Breath is almost a 3 mana Sprint, though we've yet to see if Dragon Rogue can really be a thing with Tempo Rogue available. Dragon's Hoard for my meme Thief Rogue.
For Shaman. also a great Galakrond. But will it hold up against Hagatha if slower, value oriented games become the norm? Will both be played? Or even against Quest Shaman, since Cumulo-Maximus is what everyone is eyeing, and with reason, because of Quest Shaman suddenly being able to Pyro you for 7 mana. Twice, or more since at 10 mana you can bring it back to your hand with Bog Slosher. Lightning Breath looks fantastic, and becomes absurd if Zentimo is in play. It can kill 3 Mountain Giants.
Storm's Wrath is also being slept on, and Shaman, specially Quest, can get wide really quickly, and Totems also become more threatening. Grim Rally is so powerful for Warlock, now Shaman also has access to it, and without needing to sacrifice anything. Squallhunter Squallhunter is a ridiculous big body, with a must remove-effect and combos with Lightning Breath as well, not to mention of course, every other Shaman spell.
I'm not sold on anything Warlock. Valdris Felgorge 7 mana 4/4 to draw 4 doesn't look fantastic when everyone else will be doing much more threatening stuff. Zzeraku the Warped seems the only one I see making something happen.
Galakrond and the Invoke cards seem to favor to go wide fast, buff and go face. Doesn't Zoo already does this better without crappy cards like Dragonblight Cultist and Fiendish Rites? Nether Breath and Crazed Netherwing are the only really good cards I see.
Warrior got a Galakrond with an insane battlecry. Scion of Ruin will look to ruin everyone's board, just wait. Ramming Speed can be nice with the amount of big things around. For some reason, can also be used on your own minions as well, so open up more possibilities for combos or plays. Will Pirate Warrior be really a thing? I don't know in this meta, but probably in the future. Everything seems too controlish right now. I'm putting my bets on some form of Midrange Warrior.
For Neutrals, there is really a lot of stuff, but yes, no way Kronx Dragonhoof doesn't see play. Will probably be the most crafted card of the set, if not also played. Frizz Kindleroost Powerful highroll, but will it really be necessary? Wymrest Purifier is interesting, and not only for Paladin, I think.
Dragonmaw Poacher will probably be everywhere. Even Aggro wouldn't mind getting a 4 mana 8/8 Rush. Camouflaged Dirigible will probably have potential... Goboglide Tech has a lot of potential in a mech deck, Mech Hunter would love it. Sathrovarr was seeing play in Holy Wrath Paladin, probably can find a place around in other decks too.
Those three cards are being "EASILY being slept on"??? How? Corrupt Elementalist and Dragon's Packboth have 86%+ rating each of them as "Very Good" or "Meta-defining!" and Invocation of Frost has 68.4% of people rating it as one or the other. I don't know how that's EASILY slept on. I think just about everybody else on Hearthpwn knows they're insane cards.
I think these are the cards that we will grow to "hate" the most. The ones where, if your opponent has it and you don't have an answer, you are going straight to the Salt Thread to complain.
In general, I prefer strong neutrals to strong class cards. The exception being Shaman's Galakrond, for reasons that are probably clear.
Post Your Top 10 META Decent of Dragon Cards:

Honorable Mention is Necrium Apothecary and Dragonmaw Poacher. Necrium Apothecary alone inspires a Deathrattle package with Waxadred. Dragonmaw Poacher is an unreal tech card that punishes people who run OP Dragons.

Faceless Corruptor, I think it's nuts

Kronx Dragonhoof top 5
Dragonrider Talritha top 6
Mana Giant top 7
Phase Stalker top 8
Embiggen top 9
Stormhammer top10
AND ofc special place in my hearth for Bad Luck Albatross!!!
In the early meta, Dragonmaw Poacher is going to be tea-bagging people all over the place (except Pirate warriors).
Here's my personal ranking for this set :
1. Ancharrr - If Pirate Warrior is making a comeback, it will be thanks to this card. Drawing 3 or 4 pirates with Greenskin in top of dealing damage is absurd. The main issue with Pirate Warrior was running out of pirate, it shouldn't happen no more with this weapon and the new pirate.

i think this card would do an amazing job
Dragonmaw poacher is overrated imo. It does Nothing agaisnt decks like pw, aggro shaman what will be dominant decks after the first week i think.
If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Warrior has poor card draw. Without the legendary weapon, it will run out of steam real quick.
I never even thought about this, wow that's scary.

Breath of Dreams Obviously really good in the coming meta.
For Hunters, I'm more curious about Phase Stalker and Diving Gryphon. Both help to thin the deck, are beasts, can be tutored with Master's Call. Primordial Explorer will never get hit by a Dragonmaw Poacher and also generates more value and threats.
Veranus has a big body with accessible cost, really powerful effect, specially with the amount of big things and taunts in the set. Can be used defensively with Explosive Trap too.

Dragoncaster

Dragonmaw Poacher
Breath of Dreams
Cumulo-Maximus (easy condition for 10 face damage)
Arcane Breath
Kronx Dragonhoof
Necrium Apothecary

Only that THIS is so much better...
