After watching the stream I’m pretty sure any kind of fatigue style deck is completely dead. The sheer value generated by this deck, even when it’s sub optimal, is more than something like Dr Boom can deal with. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing (I like control but fatigue decks are just boring) every other control deck is going have to adapt or die. Then there’s Murozond. In theory you can play mass hysteria and him in the same turn with some discounting for a potential total board flip against someone putting a lot of stuff on the board in one turn. This card is going to be interesting to try to play around. I won’t go so far as to say it’s gonna be OP, because it looks pretty weak to aggro at first glance, but if it has a decent presence on the ladder it could really mess with the meta.
Outside of that I’m not looking forward to pirate warrior high rolling turn 1 with like 3/4 worth of stats.
Murozond is a bad card, but Galakrond priest looks to be better than some other Galakrond decks like warlock.
That being said, don't take anything on that stream as proof of a deck being good. Rarely does any final reveal stream deck and/or archetype end up being good. These decks are being played in an isolated environment with a purpose of putting on a good show and they can't show you how viable is a deck actually going to be on the ladder.

Yeah that’s why I put sub optimal in there lol. The streams can be really hard to watch sometimes with the wonky plays.
I don’t think Murozond is bad though. Granted you won’t play him against some sort of spell spamming deck but there’s a lot of cards most decks play like zilliax that would just be good to copy for free. He’s situational but those situations aren’t rare and you have complete control over the outcome because you get to pick what turn to copy unlike something like Tess Greymane.

I totally agree with this. At 8 mana you can also drop it on ten and sceance it. Control/Malakrond/Dragon priest could be really strong early, mid and late AOE, big lumpy minions and a ton of value.
Plus you don't have to run the God-awful Elysiana as you can just drop Murozond! At least I assume it does the battlecry even if you don't get to discover the cards like Shudderwock?
Bro you are making BIG conclusions based on two game sample space against sub-optimal decks with sub-optimal plays because they were trying to show new cards. Also Chakki was stream sniping.
Put Galakrond Priest against Quest Shaman, Tempo Rogue, Quest Druid, Holy Wraith Paladin, Control Warrior and then we can start talking about its power level.
Control Warrior have to go to classic style. Notice that in Galakrond mode Priest lose healing. Use a TTK of Ysera , Alex + Buff Grom to do the job. If you draw Grom with Galakrond, anf you have Ysera Awaken or nightmare, you can burst 19 with Grom plus 5 from the weapon is 24. Use Voone to double your Ysera to increase the chance
If you have a discount Alex and in Galakrond with weapon from you can instantly drop the Priest from full to 7 health.
It will be hard but CW can still win, not hopeless.
Control Handlock with a 3 card Mechathun OTK package can beat the Priest easily.

Sure it's great value, but it's you'll still run out of a deck eventually. I think Rogue can actually do better in a long term value game. The question really becomes whether Rogue can live long enough to get there.
Without a doubt the value you can get off of priest is insane. But also RNGish, which makes it's effectiveness a bit less consistent. Although it only has to be consistent enough.

I don't play standard so idk the meta but I'm 100% certain that priest version of Galakrond is the best one by far.

There is only my justice now

Im more affraid of pirate warrior - I don't know why they would ever reintroduce something so toxic.

Okay? But it will get run over by faster decks. And you’d need to run double plague of death to even have a chance against waxadred control rogue.

Like 3 people here didn’t even read beyond the title and proceeded to say “but...” and then list things I mentioned in my post...
