I got the following message when login to Heartstone today. Does anyone know what it means?

When the new exp. hit you wil lose the cards they gave to you for free.(Sylvanas,Ragnaros,Evolve,Curator ect.)

Goodbye Ragnaros the Firelord, Sylvanas Windrunner, Kun the Forgotten King, Astral Communion, Lock and Load, Call of the Wild, Babbling Book, Flamewaker, Avenge, Mysterious Challenger, Vol'jin, Lightbomb, Swashburglar, Shaku, the Collector, Evolve, Thing from Below, Renounce Darkness, Imp Gang Boss, Bloodhoof Brave, Varian Wrynn, Emperor Thaurissan, The Curator, and N'Zoth, the Corruptor ...

So much agreed.

Most of those cards could stay imo, it's just the bs ones like N'Zoth and Evolve that should have never come back in the first place.

AMEN! Constructed pure TRASH right now due to evolve etc etc. I've been playing since Day 1. Been there done that, don't need old shit to keep rotating back in that defined metas.

I don't understand. I got some of those cards from packs, like Ragnaros in the beggining of the game. Now I won't be able to use it? Or those cards are just leaving Standard Mode?

Ragnaros has been a wild only card for a couple of years now, same as Sylvanas. This 2 months have been an event that brought back 23 cards that weren't usable anymore, and to wild they'll go back.

you can still use it in Wild mode

Shaman will take a hit, but the new expansion is gonna create a new meta anyways. So it will be hard to determine just how bad of a hit it takes. Mogu with mutate/lackey will still be a thing.
