Obviusly hearthstone is a very simple game (rng is the factor that makes it varius) due to the small amount of words you can use in a card .... So it's a challange to produce expansions on expansions with a high amount of cards that can be played. This means that the devs to actually sell an expansion and to create big hype around it they need to insert new type of cards to give more possibility to create, CREATING POWER CREEP CARDS or simply creating new interesting synergies that can make new cards catchy. And what it looks like is that power creep level on this expansion is so high and that dragon archetype will be so damn strong. (at least we will see the comeback of mirange archetype .. )
Please don't come under here to say ''hey you re just a complainer '' .. or ''nobody care if you stop to play this game'' or ''every expansion there is somebody co sayng this!!'' ecc......
I really like this game , i play it since naxxramas, i made it to legend many times. I really played it a lot.... And i will keep to do it, this are just my thoughts knowing that going on this way most of the cards in our collection will be obsolete in a short amount of time and that certain archetypes will be pushed hard by the devs and we actually lose diversity on the ladder as there will be archetypes way to favorited. Just like aggro shaman , midrange hunter, combo druid , patron warrior , BIG PRIEST , pirate warrior ecc......... have been in the past.
Yeah id much prefer Rastakhan where 90% of the cards were useless. If the cards arent more powerful than what exists then nothing will change. I havent seen any card that looks game breaking.
I see it in most of the dragon archetype cards. /Breath' cards itself are the strongest revealed up to now.
My point is that going on this way we can only keep disenchanting a lot of cards from every expansion ,as they will be obsolete and we won't be able to have a lot of variety on the ladder if some archetypes are favourited just by the powerlevel of single cards.

While cards are getting stronger it is not power creep. Power creep is when a certain card is a significant upgrade over an existing card. However, I understand your point and I do agree with you that some cards seem powerful now but I'd argue that cards aren't consistently going up in power. Rastakhan's Rumble, my personal favorite, was one of the weaker sets that we've seen in recent years (and it came after two really good sets). Every expansion will have some really strong cards but, if we are to judge based on the history of set releases, it is usually just a handful of cards, maybe 10 at best, in an entire expansion. Everything else is just bad or decent at best.
Regarding the dragon archetype, I really doubt that it will be as good as it appears at the moment. They've tried pushing it before and it didn't really work out.
Really hard to determine what is going to be strong. Third expansion is always strong, because it has the shortest time in standard. This is all card games, not just Hearthstone. Strong cards still lose to other strong cards.
Also, you are not using the term Power Creep correctly.
Do you understeand that going this way its only toxic for the game ?
Going on on power creeping it s just bad, you have even spend money to buy an expansion that in 6 months will be obsolete and only few cards out of 150 will be playble.
It s like when you have to clean a room and you put the dirt under the carpet.
The right world to use was power level , i hope that you get my message and you can have a constructive talk , instead of seeking for likes just by making me look supid.

I'm not arguing that it is or isn't toxic for the game.
Power creep is a natural thing in card games and it is rotation that keeps it in check. As old cards rotate out sometimes we get more powerful newer versions but rarely do both of them compete vs one another at the same time. As games evolve, as new ideas come up, we will naturally sometimes get some cards that are just better than others but because we're in a rotating format the power creep is less felt and it has a lesser impact. Wild, on the other hand, is completely screwed by power creep.
Regarding spending money and cards becoming obsolete, most of the new cards that come out are obsolete in the same expansion. Each set has maybe 10-12 cards that are actually good and the rest is filler. It is not ideal by measure.
One is a class minion and the other is a neutral minion. This isn't power creep. Amber Watcher isn't worse but it doesn't compete directly with Antique Healbot because it is locked into one class. Guardian of Kings should be more afraid of Amber Watcher than Healbot should. Amber Watcher being good does not impact how good Antique Healbot is.

Even if you take back what you said ("power creep"), there is absolutely nothing wrong with class cards having increased power levels per expansion. Especially not if you're going to try and compare Amber Watcher to a neutral card or a basic evergreen one.
Amber is a class card and Antique is a neutral card, class cards are normal to be more powerful, like the 5 manas 5/6 priest dragon compared with 5/6 neutral vanilla.
Class specific vs neutral does not a power creep make. Especially when that neutral minion isn't type 2.
I do not agree that it is toxic for the game. This is a digital game that has the opportunity to be nerfed after a card displays a broken synergy that was missed it production. Something that paper card games do not have. People are disagreeing with you, nobody is calling you stupid or trying to make you feel that way.
Yeah, I agree with you. Dragon decks will be pushed into the meta but there will still be other good decks like Murloc shaman, combo priest, and control warrior as staples in the meta for a while.

i should have used the world power level instead of power creep , even tho we already seen the 1/3 hunter class minion (that is power creep) , darkshire alchemist is the card to compare to amber watcher and the breath cards itself are just powerfull class cards revised in a way to be stronger if you are holding a dragon.
I a not sayng this expansion will brake the game , i was just sayng that cards become obsolete so fast and that variability on the ladder is not helped in this way
And i dont like how certain archetypes just get ''Quote from eLsir>>
What do you have against power creep? Shakes up the meta and makes old bad cards viable
that cards become obsolete, and i play only wild so i see this a lot compared to one who plays only standard and is not very touched by this.
Other then that certain archetypes are pushed more then others so if you love deckbuilding and tryng to create new dck and make them competitive is very hard as some archetypes are pushed by the devs for being playble.
Amber Watcher and Guardian of Kings would be a better comparison since they're both Paladin cards. Amber Watcher is 2 mana cheaper with only 1 less attack, a bigger heal you can target, and the dragon tribe. One is clearly better than the other.
am i the only bewildered by the new expansion?

If Amber was neutral then will be a powercreep.
Yes
