I don't think Snip-Snap is the problem. I use him in most of my highlander decks as a good 3/6/9 drop that can be rezzed by N'Zoth, and he's far from OP - he's a slightly stronger Harvest Golem. I imagine the problem is the combo - which is easily solved by changing Mechwarper to reduce mechs by 1, but to no less than 1. Alternatively they can keep it as is and change how the combo works mechanically (so that Mechwarper applies before Portal), but I don't know how easy or hard that would be.

This. Snip-Snap is a very good card but Mechwarper is arguably one of the most degenerate things they've ever printed. It's like Sorceror's apprentice if apprentice could cheat out minions, including itself. It's an effect that's just asking to be broken. The card has needed a change since it was printed.

Everything that can reduce minions below zero is strong (Thing from Below, Emperor Thaurissan), BUT Auras that reduces things to 0 are far beyond broken, they are simply destroying the game. The interaction of Snip Snap and Mechwarper in wild is really disgusting. And it is infuriating the developers have not addressed it yet. The OP is right - you can die on turn 4(!) and it is just awful to play against it. I really can't believe they have let the situation continue like this for so long.
how casn u cry for a nerf to Sn1p Snap in Wild format? Wild has broken synergies. You cant avoid that after 5 years of expansions and new cards. Its gonna happen. You cant avoid it.

Sure, Wild has more broken stuff than standard, but there's still a limit on how broken things are allowed to be. Barnes, Aviana, and Naga Sea Witch all got nerfed for that reason. Naga let you play 45/45 worth of stats on turn 5. It's the only card in the game's history to be nerfed by 3 whole mana points. That's how broken it was. Snip Snap combo lets you cast just as much stats on turn 4, with deathrattle on top of that. I think it's safe to say it's below what's acceptable.

Mechwarper has never been a problem before outside Tavern Brawls, playing 0 Mana Mechagnomes or Skaterbots or whatever isn't game breaking in wild whatsoever, it is totally tame.
Echo Magnetic is the problem, and that's why snip snap should have the text.

Honestly, I think all cost-reducing cards should limit card costs to minimum of 1. This would solve a bunch of problems IMO.
