Most powerful is murloc by a mile, if they can get their thing going its instant win. They're in a good position early game, but often at the cost of not ramping up, and they badly need their rank 6 adapt murlocs guy to get there. (and brann or be shudderwock)
...
I kinda dislike that tribes are the only way to play in this.
Part of being a strong tribe is that it's not super risky to try for the endgame build. Murlocs are a crap shoot, so they are not considered the best.
Also, tribes are definitely not the only way to play this. I and many others win with menagerie builds all the time. Lightfang is the key.

I played a lot of battleground lately, and mechs / beasts is the best by a long shot. Sometimes murlocs and demons win but its pure luck when they do.
Personally i think the battlegrounds was fun at first, but the competition for drops ruins it for me. What is the reasoning behind that ? why not give everyone equal fighting chance instead of maximizing the impact of luck ? I think im done with battlegrounds honestly. Its simply not that fun getting wrecked by hyenas or junkbots every damn game. I'd rather fight battlecry shaman tbh.
I just went all in on Murlocs for the first time, and while I acknowledge it's probably not objectively a good idea, it sure is fun when you high-roll with a golden Brann. 4-5 divine shield, poisonous minions and then you just keep stacking buffs on them. Primalfin Lookout becomes insane, allowing you to rack up tons of Coldlight Seers. I've landed some nice mech and beast hands, but that was the most powerful feeling run I've had so far.
I think beasts have the higher ceiling of both for skill and optimal outcome if you are lucky enough to not get your key cards killed (i swear it seems every other minion has taunt if hyaena, bear, and the 3/3 are on board...).
Mechs dominate when you get a lot of Replicating Menaces and have pre-buffed Junkbots.
Poison is good versus mechs. Or all the buffed summons beasts do.
The windfury sniper is womderful versus beasts but really you just have to get lucky to not have every inch of summons kill off your army before you get to the hyaena...
Do not forget that all players are competing for the same pool of cards so it is pretty important to find out what your opponents are looking for.
Mech is probably the strongest with a lot of possibilities where the other tribes tend to need some specific cards but it's also the most popular so many times you will be competing for the best cards with a lot of players in the BG which might put you at a disadvantage especially if none of them gets killed in the mid game...
Just had a nice demon run, too, where I was able to load up a couple of monster health Annihilan Battlemasters with Brann. Those don't always seem that powerful due to the difficulty in scaling up their attack (and lack of poisonous), but boy do they mop up tokens. That's a really pure way to win a game if you can avoid running them into an opposing poisonous minion.
Whatever the case, I definitely have more fun attempting those runs than mech/beast. Almost everything comes down to landing an early Brann or three, but I'm hoping that Blizzard finds a sweet spot in terms of card pool that allows those builds to be more viable.

this. I was always going for mechs or beast, only wasting a lot of gold trying to find them. Murlocs are easier to collect and really powerful in all game stages. Haven't tried menagerie yet, but I can imagine it can work well to
I feel like liking beasts is dependent on your buffing cards not getting sniped or not. Mine get sniped. Murlocs and Beasts are both ideas I tend to abandon in favor of other things late game.
Speaking of which, whatever you do to not take too much damage in the early game, you can abandon in favor of a few different things, whether it's going buff crazy, doing the deathrattle thing, or some other manner of other thing that usually involves countering a strong opponent(ie. throwing in a spread damage minion to deal with shields).
I like Demons but they are too uncommonly spread throughout the tiers. Good early minions and late-game but without Nightmare Amalgam the midgame is lacking for the tribe.

I found my remedy at last, and now my guiding star is shining; and when my present becomes my past, I realise, that every cloud has a silver lining!
Mechs can often just run over people playing other strategies once you get junk bot since beast and menagerie take more time to get strong. That being said, I think mechs will eventually lose to other strats if the game reaches super late stages since mama bear is OP and menagerie boards can get crazy huge
If you have double rat pack and are offered triple, do you take it, or is double rat back better than the triple?
What Joker said, plus you can get a lion or something to fill in the gap.
Due to board space, the first rat to die doesn't usually spawn a ton of babies, so having a lion that's capped at two isn't a huge detriment. Just be sure to put the lion to the left of the rat. (The lion's hyenas also do not die to microbots.)
I'm playing pretty much everything except beast xD Demons / mechs ftw - Jaraxuss after patch it's unstopabble.
I think Murloc is the best tribe then mech then demon then beast
Vote for my Card Design Submission! I love this one!

I have more fun and consistency with menagerie.

Beasts with pack leader and rat pack is so op 👀 😱

I have 3 first place wins so far and none with Mechs or beast. 1 with murlocs and 2 with demons which is favorite one to do.
Love is pain but I'll endure that pain if that's what it takes. 🖤
Mechs and beasts. Mechs are stronger if you get lucky.(your kobold defenders don’t die instantly)

Triple is better because it survives microbots from mechs.
