Problem is it seems like every session takes a long time to complete so it requires some dedicated uninterrupted timeframe... So the answer for me is way less than the other formats.
Its better than Dota Underlords because its faster presented in a more fun way and feels more like your playing other people than against the computer. Its a great addition! 2 month ago I thought I may never play hearth again after 4 years but this has brought me back.
Edit: They need to add ranks though, I dig you have the number but ranks give you somthign to aim for.
I am not sure, haven't played a lot yet, but I think I'll stick with ranked for the most part. Battlegrounds seems to be even more RNG, if you get good minions offered you win, otherwise you get destroyed. I know there is some strategic decisions, but as of now it is little more than a glorified Mass Hysteria simulator to me.
Haven't played, but watched a few of videos. Seems fun, but I already feel like I've gotten everything there is from it - simply by watching some streams.
I think it would pack a bit more of a punch if it was connected to your collection in some way AND offered some way for you to define your playstyle based on that prior to entering the battle.
^^^ At least this mode is unapologetic about the RNG, helps to not care as much and just try to enjoy it. Staleness will be an issue, only way to prevent that is fairly regular updates, of which any reasonable person would say that is unlikely given Team 5's track record.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I really love this mode but I'd need a strong incentive to continue playing it. Right now I'm just a random rank number on a ladder that doesn't matter
Battlegrounds is but i think the only thing it needs is a way to confirm that your tavern is complete. So that nobody has to wait 20+ seconds to get into battle. Once everybody has confirmed their battlefield it would initiate battle, no matter how much time there was left on the clock.

I don't disagree with you there, but barring maybe the first 1.5 rounds, I find that I am pressing my nose up against the end of the rope on almost every turn, and sometimes don't get all the actions done that I want. This is partly because of analysis-paralysis I reckon, but even when I know exactly what I want to do it can sometimes take a while.
On phone, though, its a pointless exercise. With the tiniest lag spike or misclick on the screen, it wrecks your game. Every time! :-(
Just as title reads, do you guys think it will be fun in the long run. I myself got bored of it after just a couple runs.
Getting a lot of first which is fun. If they refresh the meta on a regular basis I will continue to play it.

Unfortunately it feels more like a Tavern Brawl. Where you seek the coveted 'First Place!', then kind of think to yourself "well, I won I'm done".

You do get gold from wins. Got 10 good after coming in first 3 times. Not sure if you need 1st or anything 4th and above etc
top 4 counts towards your 3 wins
it's not as boring as Evolve-stone, so ...

Enjoying it quite a bit so far.

Absolutely agree with you!

Anyway, what do I know...

I'll let you know when it's released for me.

I disliked it even for free. I don't like the mandatory timeout and the whole mechanic itself.
NINE Packs opened with 2 legendaries inside insofar
Don't think I will play it lots in the long run.
But that is ok.
Having an extra play mode option gives variety for when constructed mode gets stale each season.
The most boring crap they've ever made
