As you know, we have a lot of battlecries in the game but no tool to counter them. At Deathrattles we have mute, for spells have counter spells, at highlander decks we have bombs, agianst secrets secret eater (etc.), against minions polimorf, hex, hard removal etc.. Only no mechanics against battlecries (and choose one). It would be nice if they added a neutral unit to it.And one or two to silence (but it's only my personal wish).

Another Thread being created without thinking about it. As other people have already pointed out, there are counter mechanics to battlecries.
this does feel like a salt thread and nothing more.
I suspect that the original idea behind Battlecry was that it should be very difficult to counter, and the mana cost of any Battlecry card should reflect that.
I'm guessing the original devs made a promise to themselves to avoid making any specific Battlecry too strong or too cheap, but there's been a bit of turnover in personnel over the years. Maybe the current team is not aware of that promise, or is not taking it as seriously.
I think if Battlecry were meant to be counterable, there would be a counter in the Classic or Basic sets.

The only counter mechanic available in Standard is Hecklebot. All the other ones listed are Wild only.
