This limited time event that had brought Ragnaros back into the meta was programmed by Blizzard to only go face. Upon reviewing the 129 games i've played since the release of the event though HS Replay, ragnaros has been played in 84 of those games. in 4 of those 84 games i had no minions on the board and took 8 damage to the face. in the other 80 games i've had anywhere from 1-6 minions on the board and it went face every time for lethal. I've had a theory since the older warrior quest was in standard which gave you the ragnaros hero power that it's not random out of how many possible enemy targets but instead 50/50 that it will hit either your hero or a minion instead of 4 minions on the board 20% chance to go face. Now in this limited event i believe the devs gave rag a higher hit chance on the hero purely for nostalgia purposes. In the games I've used him which is only 23 he's gone face 20 times each one of them for lethal. This is the kind of shit that makes want to stop playing until the event is over which I believe is when the next xpac comes out. I fully expect some salt forum comments but i don't care in my opinion this is strong evidence that Blizzard has rigged rag for this limited time event.
While I've noticed rag going face very often while he had multiple targets, I'd have an easier time believing this as "irrefutable evidence" if you had recorded and included the statistics and had at least a few instances where he hit a minion instead of face. He hasn't been targeting face EVERY time for me and I don't believe that he has for you either. Especially in that amount of matches.
If you look at that art of the Ragnaros card you can see a burning face, Blizzard has been telling us this truth the whole time and you people are just too dumb to accept it #TheTruthIsOutThere #RagFireMeltsFace #sheeple #wakeup
I only noticed from a game this afternoon but I needed Rags to go face 3 times against a Shaman dropping a bunch of middle sized taunt minions that I just couldn't clear. And he did it, went face 3 times in 4 turns for lethal.

Mmmm... I'm not going to defend Blizzard this time. I wouldn't be surprised if Ragnaros the Firelord is rigged, on purpose or not (it could be just bad coding causing this behaviour), but dude, I have a question for you: do you really understand the concept of irrefutable evidence? Because it seems you don't and for some reason it worries me... -.-
As Sherman points out, "irrefutable evidence" might be the wrong (or misused) term here. Let's take this next paragraph as an example:
"I flipped a coin ten times. It landed on heads every single time. This is irrefutable evidence that the coin is broken and will never land on tails."
From your viewpoint, it is understandable that you feel the coin must be rigged because the odds of what happened are low. But in the case of evidence, you can't claim it is "irrefutable", because you haven't proven (beyond refutability) that the coin is rigged - only that in a subset of results, tails never occured. In the same way, the same thing stands for your point about Ragnaros. Now, perhaps what you are saying is correct and Rag's likelihood of hitting face has indeed been raised. That's entirely possible. The new standard version of Rag (which has temporarily replaced the old card) is a new version of him (as we've been told by Blizzard), so perhaps the mechanic has been tweaked. It's hard to tell. However, as someone earlier also pointed out, it would possibly be more helpful / believable to have visual evidence of it happening - though that's agreeably unlikely, since it's a grand undertaking effort that few would likely be inclined to partake in.
In any case, it's an interesting notion and one that I might pay some vague attention to when playing Ragnaros myself, and make some personal notes on the outcomes to test for my own curiosity.
I would prefer everyday to lose to Ragnaros going Face than Facing(not losing, just tired of facing) Shamans. Man, you guys are so innovative, and unique. 40% of ladder in EU between rank 5 and Legend where I play these days are Shamans.

You can't blame OP for believing Ragnaros the Firelord is rigged, even if his experience is partially true. For example, if you were assaulted by a different thief every time you leave your home during let's say ten days in a row, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't leave your home anymore and become a hermit, even when the chance of that happening is extremely low and rare in many countries and most of their populations will never experience something like that in their entire lives. But don't worry, it is never too late for someone to learn to see the world from others' perspective. ;)

It's one thing to understand why someone else has incorrect beliefs, but it's another thing to accept those beliefs for yourself.
And, honestly, when the wild notions are this far off the mark, it's totally OK to make fun of them.
It worries you that OP doesn't understand what "irrefutable"means? Well, it worries me that you are so willing buy into his theory. I know you're smarter than that.

Well, thank you very much for the compliment, FortyDust, hehe!!! :D :D :D
I'm not really buying his theory, it's only that, having seen what Blizzard is capable of for money, I have my doubts about all this company's actions now... Let's say I'm just a bit confused. :P And since I still can't see how Blizzard would really benefit from this, it is because of that I also said it could be just bad coding, hehe. :P

Well... I sort of agree.. This happens to me a lot too with rag.

Ps. Is this a parody thread?
I'd prefer he go face, it's when he snipes snipes prime board targets you lose. He always kills my X minion giving my opponent huge tempo.
Rag always snipes my board! It must be programmed this way...
Or it could be rng mixed with selective memory.
PS if your low enough that a Rag face hit wins the game, you might already be losing, and it might not have been the Rag causing it.
FINALLY, MAN!!! FINALLY!!! Someone who gets it!!!
Gotta read between the lies! They told us it was RNG! They thought we were too dumb to figure it out!
RNG is just another way of saying Rag Never Goesminions!

I've noticed it happens quite often with it or against it.
