Did in around 15 min with Dr. Boom - 1st try... Just shuffle bombs each round and pickup everything that doubles your bombs like augmented elekk = extra fast wins

 Any particular reason to doubt their claim? 9 minutes doesn't sound unrealistic. Just farm Best Friends from Hagatha runs until you have 20, start the game with a 1-cost 20/20 Charge minion, pick empty loot crates whenever you can, with Boom you can even add Weapon damage to your first turn(s). Most bosses don't even live to see turn 3. The only annoying things are the boss that has the 1-cost Freeze-a-minion twinspell, and the one that can Naturalize your Best Friend.

I set a world record 7:12, maybe I'm wrong - but I did not see the result better anywhere.
Even in this video I lost 10+ seconds
