Already disinstalled the launcher and all the games after this. The only regret is I recently gave Bli$$ard money for classic WoW. Anyone who wants to protest against Bizzard's stance should suspend their account, as this company does not deserve our money.
Let's sink this ship!
A) Blizzard punished a player who clearly violated the T's & C's of the competition he was invited to play in. Absolutely, nothing wrong with that.
B) Even if Blizzard did something wrong, so what. Why would anyone cut off their nose to spite their face?
As already stated by someone else in this discussion, screw these rules. Technically speaking you are right, Blizzard did nothing wrong according to the rule they chose for the competition. Just an exaggeration: technically speaking, according to the racial laws in Italy, there was nothing wrong even with the Jewish deportations. To be clear, I'm not comparing Blizzard with the fascist regime. It was to underlie the fact that not just because something is "legal" it has also to be unconditionally accepted without criticisms by everyone.
I also understand that probably Blizzard's motivations are, more than political, just economical. I get that. But, as a world-wide influential company, Blizzard had a choice on one of the hottest topic of the moment. And they chose not to choose, hiding behind the T&C terms and refusing to take side against the antidemocratic repression of the Chinese government.
You can do whatever you want with your subscriptions, and I won't say a single word against you (or anyone who think this discussion is worthless). It's up to you whether stand against or ignore Blizzard's behaviour, and I will always respect every (democratic) position. To me, the latter would be impossible, and I won't support Blizzard anymore after this disgusting, money-driven move.
I want to show solidarity to Blitzchung and the casters, and I think stop playing a bunch of games (as much as I love them) is a reasonable price to pay to state my position, even though I know I am not doing much (and, by no means, I am not doing something brave). We, as a customer, have a great power, and exercising our power of consumer is the most impactful way we have to show our dissent.

I read no farther Card Design Champion. When you are young and naive, you think you can just pick and choose what rules you want to follow. That is all.

Tactfulness or Fingertipfeeling as we would say here was what Blizzard lacked off. A player who would yeall at the end of a winners Interview : Yehhh, i love the CCP. Or D Trump... Well people would think , what an idiot and maybe after a while he would get banned or just scolted but everything what happened , and was somewhat expected to happen afterwards ... maybe Blizzard coulda put a bit more thought to it?
Probably every Company eventually has to make decisions like; Ok this will make us x-% amount of more profit but it could very likely scare off these sort of customers etc. Companys usually have meetings about that and are very careful in their actions . In Blizzards case however it looked like they were nodding and bending over...
They were so vague in the Roger or Shaxy incidents, and yet here they went as hard as possible, even tho this was way more a "ok he contravene the rules , but the reason was actually for a good case and no Cheating for himself etc" thing.
Obviously they dont want this to happen (again) , but like others said, this way it was handled as poorly as possible by Blizzard.
It is getting worse and worse: At first we got the Jaina nerf, than other card designs got changed or even renamed in some cases and now we get a glimpse of what the increasing influence of the chinese government (the chinese population probably couldnt care less) will do to the Entertainment industry in the future. We can only hope that enough people will speak up and put their money where their mouth afterwards.

Well, I invite you to read farther as I am not saying that. On the other hand, if you accept rules regardless their impact and their meaning, I fear I am not the naive one here.
But thanks for the 'young', even though I would not define myself like that.
Edit: here's the comment I was referring to. Posted here simply because I think the author explained better than me what I was trying to say, and also because it is surely something worth reading.
Since I don't really know everything that's happening there and don't want to get myself into a topic I don't fully understand, I'll just say it's horrifying Blizz punished him so severely for breaking the no-politics rule (I can understand that he should be penalized in some way for not conforming to the rules he agreed to follow), but allowed Roger and others to compete after CHEATING.
Disgusting, just disgusting!!! Freedom of speech is everything and we must protect it at all cost!!! See you in hell, Blizzard, you digged your own grave!!! >:-(

Wow is this an ethical outburst? Thought you had no time and use for that as it is "impractical" Never to young to learn.

Just check my signature, bro... Playing with random people on the internet is like a sport to me XD, but this, this is just too much... :P
Sorry for acting like an asshole with you sometimes, I just want to have fun from time to time... but I will never really harm you or anyone. That's the difference between Blizzard and people like me... We have our limits. ;)
Now, I only want to see this company burn, it's time to stop this disgusting bastards!!! ;)

It's time to uninstall and stop playing Hearthstone, people!!! Not only Blizzard stole your money and your time, now they also want to steal your f...king freedom!!! >:-(
And this is why I love you Brian!!! :D :D :D (I don't fully agree with him, but he has the balls to express his opinion on the topic while being a streamer very attached to Blizzard, something that will encourage others to do the same, and that's very valuable from my point of view :D)
All this people saying they will boycott Blizzard, but they will continue to use their phones, laptops, desktops and every other electronic device, shoes, etc. ALL of which were built in China or use Chinese parts and puts money directly in the pockets of the Chinese government shows people don't really care what China does as long as they get their stuff for cheap and everything else is just flavor of the month fake outrage.
if Kibler really had balls, he would stop streaming using electronics made in china. but like i said it's fake outrage where no one is actually going to do anything that will actually affect china in protest. it's easier to act tough and get mad at blizz then it is to actually do something about China. If you really believe China is a human right's abuser but still use Chinese products you are a hypocrite.

You can't stop the signal.
>company bans player for using their platform as a medium for politics
>company gets called out for being against human rights
where did blizzard say they were against his stance on the problem? tbh I feel the ban is completely justified but not taking his money
lick my balls blizzard
I am, therefore I am
