I'm playing a lot of the time on my mobile, LG G4 (Snapdragon 808 with 3Gb Ram)
I'm experiencing disconnects much more frequently now. I'm usually able to quit Hearthstone, open it up again just in time to play 1 card or throw 1 minion before it ropes out.
Half of me is thinking
"It's the phone, it's not getting any newer, buy a new one you cheapskate"
the other half of me is thinking that these disconnects nearly always happen towards the end of a match when I seem to be 1 turn away from the win.
"has the other player got some sort of trick that throws the game for a minute - surely not - don't call me shirely"
So I guess my question is, Is anybody else experiencing these sort of problems on mobile? (would especially like to hear from other G4 owners).
My phone is older - has snapdragon 625 and I dont have any problems. RAM is 4gb, but i dont think this is the problem either
Make sure your internet connection is stable and make sure you have downloaded all required files before you started playing(sometimes you are able to play, but if you check your notifications there is a paused download message) If I have a paused download like this I dont disconnect, but the game gets extremelly laggy and slow
I was experiencing a bug where i'd start a match and it would quit back to the home screen even though the match had started, I'd have to restart the game to actually play!
You could try uninstalling and reinstalling, that worked for me.
What is your experience with playing on a tablet. I play exclusively on a tablet and lately I feel like all of my games run the risk of crashing as the game generates more data. For example, if I shuffle several card into my deck, the game becomes VERY laggy. Or if someone plays shudderwock against me more than a couple of times, you can count on the game crashing.
I've tried to pre-emptively log out and then log back in quickly, and that seems to clear up whatever the lag issues are, but you always run the risk of missing a turn or losing via disconnect. Any thoughts?
