ok title can be click bait but the question is honest:
if blizzard will ever print a card like this, would you ever craft it and include in your deck?
Because on level 5 to legend I am seeing lot of paladin/shaman murlocs and lot of zephyr included decks.
Facing them make me feelings they have the same spirit of a deck With this "Angel of Victory"
No skills at all, no strategy. Just counting the mana playing the card that fit, and see if win or not.
I know everybody is different and everybody is playing for different goals. it's clear that the goal here is not getting satisfied by a skillful win.
But even if the goal is just reach legend? is it worth with such a deck or such a card in the title? isn't it just playing coin flip? it really satisfy you? I mean there are not money involved. Just dust, that you spend to make this kind of decks. Really, honest question, can somebody who plays this deck try to explain me why?

I tried , i got bored. Maybe i missed something.
There are people on this site that would still say that this card requires skill lol!
I would craft and play this hypothetical card, obviously, because it is statistically incorrect not to if you have the means to do so. I would build a deck around this specific card and drawing/playing it as fast a possible, because this is clearly a completely broken strategy with zero counter play. Would I play it for long? Unlikely. It would get boring very fast and Hearthstone would effectively become a game of Snakes and Ladders.
Anyway please explain what the point in this thread is? Tip the Scales and Zephrys don't remotely compare to the card in the thread title on any level. Murloc Paladin is a pretty low skill ceiling deck, I agree, but it is also weak as piss against players who have a clue. Zephrys on the other hand is so versatile that you can't really declare it a low skill card. There are so many possibilities that playing it optimally is obviously skill testing.
One way is to play a deck where games are decided quick, usually a very aggressive deck. These decks usually don't have the highest winrate, but a good wins per hour rate. Some players like this approach to grind up the ranks a bit before switching over to another deck.
Frustration needs to be constructive if you want to beat the decks you keep losing to. You get to pick a Class + 30 cards to take into the game. If you are constantly finding yourself in advantageous situations, chances are you have made a great meta choice that works for you. Be aware of your surrounding and find the Class + 30 cards that are going to elevate you. And remember, the meta is always changing, even a stale meta can have playrate variance.
maybe its time to realize the era of grind-down decks is over and that you have to play your over-tuned win condition and hope your opponent's over-tuned win condition is inferior to it.
Zephyr is a skilled card if part of true highlanders deck (i met hunters and even face warriors with that, fine with it)
But when you cheat the card draw with card you would already use (druid and murloc paladin) it became a OP AI help to win or save your ass. or both.
your strategy is not around the card, is the card that by coincidence give you an extra help to win without using your skils or even your luck (like all the rng cards that MIGHT save your ass)

Zephrys is the same whether you obeyed the Highlander restriction or not. Some players just realised that their decks were fast/durable enough to go the distance and play Zephrys as a finisher or combo piece when they are low on cards without restricting themselves to 1 copy of each card. This isn’t coincidence or luck, the decks are designed like this on purpose - they didn’t just randomly throw Zephrys in and hope he’d be active sometimes.
Stupid posts, are stupid. Admins please redirect this to the salt thread, this guy doesn't like the 60% of the decks out there, but still wants to play the game and go to Legend. @OP, take a break from the game, you need it.
I won't use it. I have never really played tier 1 decks and I'm not using Zephyr either in any of my decks. The thing is, using only meta decks ruins a bit of the fun you can have by figuring out decks by yourself. Plus playing the same old thing will get boring pretty fast.

You get me wrong, i actually get a solid 40% win against murloc decks and no highlander zephyr.
I just wondering where is the fun in those decks since i can't find it entertaining due to the coinflip winning situation or having huge help in a deck where you cheat the draw.
Seems like you play those, maybe you can give me that answer. What is enjoyable? The win and fast ladder? but it doesn't depends on you... isn't that important?
I think all your answer (except the quest shaman one, that was neat ahah) are way more salted than my question.
I have the legend card back and i am already lvl 3this season, i just play arena since is more fun now, so no really salted for the ladder. It was a honest question because I am just worried about the game design direction, seems like they are looking for random new players giving them the chance to enjoy wins and spend more money.

I don't see the comparison between what is obviously a literal "I play this and win" card and cards which have little to nothing in common with that and require much more forethought, planning and luck, such as Zephrys and Murloc decks, etc.
You're right. The thread IS extremely clickbaity, however. But I can ignore that (having made some super-clickbaity titles in my time).
That said, if Blizzard ever printed a card like that (as completely unlikely as that is), then of course everyone would craft it, because it would force games into a case of either: "Play this card and win", or "Don't play this card and lose", and regardless of anyone's protestations of moral self-righteousness and the like, people like to win. It's a better feeling than losing. So they would play this card and win (or curse the luck of the opponent for drawing theirs first if not).
I'm not sure where the discussion really is in this thread, to be honest. I feel like there is a semi-intentional sarcasm directed towards playing cards like Zephrys or that Paladin murloc card, but it doesn't really work, because there is no comparison there - and it kind of comes of as more saltiness than satire, I'm afraid.

Hmmm . . .
You already know the answer to your initial "question" - different people enjoy the game for different reasons. Often, some of those people will enjoy playing the game in a way that you don't enjoy. Apparently, folks who play Zephrys in an Aggro deck are enjoying the game in a way that makes you upset - you suggest that those folks "can't honestly enjoy playing skilfully," and demand that they defend themselves. It's an insulting suggestion, which was presumably the point, so your frequent claims that you are simply asking an "honest question" fall pretty flat - you've already framed your "honest question" in a way that only allows people to agree with you if they actually take the time to respond. Hence, most folks have been trolling you, or pointing you in the direction of the salt thread . . .

Your argument is kinda stupid my man.
They made Zephrys because they thought he would be a cool card that brings back highlander decks.
And he is still a cool and fun card to play. The problem is he is overpowered and unfun to play against.
And also, highlander decks tend to be way more expensive than the average deck so no, they didn’t target random new players.
A game decided by 1 or 2 turns of missplays or answers. If u have already 2 turns of answer past midgame against a deck close to victory against u, zephrys can also give u a extra answer and regain the game for once. We have a lot of answer cards, discovery mechanics and Removal spells for all classes now that make zephrys like a real savior of any match late game. it's stupid design and it's making me and other players really sick and sad to even log in to the game. I barely play a game a day, each match almost make me puke, specially when this card or stupid murloc decks are involved. I feel like i'm going to break something, kill myself or find the developers adresses to give them punition for their acts.

Show me a player who thinks Zephrys doesn't require skill and doesn't need a proper setup, and I'll show you a player who doesn't even own Zephrys.
Prismatic Lens, on the other hand, actually is a terribly designed card. Mana cheat is garbage game design for exactly the reasons you state.
