Saw kabal Lackey into counter spell three times in one day, so just curious if anyone has ever encountered this while playing a quest deck, or if that's something blizzard is going to take into consideration when they decide to draw up some new cards
I get the play around is coin first then quest, but if coin is the "balance" for going second, you are essentially going second without coin, which puts you pretty far behind as it is.

Coin? Just use the coin to protect the quest in case of CounterSpell and if is another secret the quest complete 1 of 4 turns...
And what if you don't have a coin? Your quest is delyaed 2 turns at best (til wrath) and you are screwed anyways cause secret mage is an aggro deck.
If you don't have the coin then you start the game and played the quest in your first turn before the opponent have the chance to play a secret in turn 1.
It's not a hard counter if the situation always, without exception, means you are holding the solution.
But realistically, the hard counter here is that you are playing a slow midrange quest deck against an aggressive deck. You're not going to win that very often anyway.

Again a thread that feels like all the rational people from hearthpwn.com followed fluxflashor. Since then I see so many ignorant and delusional threads and comments. Lmao
Does Blizzard typically ignore one-two card "Hard counters" ?
For example, Quest druid, MOST quest druid decks are centered around the quest, and without quest being completed it's basically completely useless.
Also, quest druid doesn't have many low cost spells outside of the quest
So if you play against a mage who goes first and has Kabal Lackey + Counterspell You're basically screwed 100% from turn one. Unless you're going to gamble that hopefully the secret is Explosive Trap / Mirror Entity or Flame Ward ...

Terrible missplay lose a game for this.

Not sure if trolling or not, but if you dont have the coin you got to play first....hence no counterspell.

Kabal Lackey isn't in Standard, and if you are playing the Druid Quest in Wild, you must want to lose.
I'm not personally... but i've seen someone running druid quest for Jade Idol

Coin to pop counterspell. If it’s not countespell then whatever. Not sure why you’d play quest druid in wild though.
