This is a big deal, and it's probably the nerf that was needed all along.
It's an obvious nerf to Dr. Boom, Frightened Flunky, Elysiana, and Omega Assembly, which is excellent.
But it's also a stealth buff to something like Myra Rotspring. That will almost certainly not be relevant because that card's stats are straight doodoo, but it's worth noting. The buff to power of creation is certainly relevant. Ditto for Togwaggle, although the wand is still usually the choice.
Control Warrior will still have a role as an anti-aggro deck, but I'm not sure it stays in T1 anymore.
Now the whiners will stop complaining about how unskilled and brain-dead control warrior is, in favor of bitching about how unskillful and brain-dead aggro decks are.
Literally just crafted 2 Town Criers and Boom, Mad Genius yesterday as well after getting bored of quest shaman. I was wondering why I was getting such garbage discovers today but I guess that answers that. Classic Blizzard move to nerf cards/ decks in a way that avoids giving dust refunds.

Diligence and research should be done before crafting any cards, you have no one to blame but yourself for your ignorance.

Town Criers are not discover cards. Not affected by the patch
Good!!!! There should never have been any class bonus to begin with.
Tampering with RNG ins't RNG at all. Good change that will reduce the power level of basically every deck which, given the current deck power level, is a very good thing to lower the 'swingy' nature of some of these discover cards.

It's not like CW is unplayable, it is a small nerf.

It's not like those cards magically became good right now. They've been great for over a year.

Stealth buff to mages.
