Hi folks! Scenario: sometimes happen to be rank '5' 0 stars (other people are legend already, i know) and to play vs a rank '6' 5/4 stars that need the last win to get rank 5. When you are rank 5 (0 stars), one win usually doesnt make such big difference, like be close to get the rank 5. I always concede in this case, I like the idea to help in such random game and give a little of lucky to my opponent. Today happen the opposite, my opponent concede and I got rank 5 (Karma!). So i'm not the only one I guess, how do you behave in this situation?
I play meme decks at rank 5, 0 stars. If you can't defeat those regularly, you're not ready for rank 5 and beyond. Plus, I lose way too many times with those decks to afford not winning every once in a while.

My way, when I am at rank 5 and my opponent is rank 6: I greet him friendly. If he replies the greeting and shows a good behaviour, then I sometimes concede for him.
If he does not greet, then he has to earn his rank 5 in a hard match ;-)
I always feel like the people who greet me at the beginning are going to be the one's spamming 'thank you' or roping every turn to see if ill concede. This game has affected my innocence :p
I've done stuff at rank floor like make a specific counter deck to the most popular meta deck and concede against everything but that deck. (The opponents' rank doesn't matter).
I remember doing this in wild to counter pirate warrior. Had a deck with 8 weapon removals. Was like 95% win against pirate warrior.

This happens also to lower ranks. I was rank 11 and two games in the row my opponents conceded at turn 2. I thanked them and enjoying my milestone!

doesnt matter usually
Rank 5 is a privilege, not a right! ;-)
I always try my best and think you should earn your rank. However, it is a nice gesture.
I have conceded in that scenario, but I don´t think it is something you should expect.
Huh? You are not ready for rank 5? Where do you think u are? In an avangers movie?
They just need the golden epic.
Near end of month, 100% concede, before 90%.

Blind altruism is stupid. What if you help a mass murderer get to rank 5 this way? You are a bad person, and you should feel bad.

This poll is missing too many options!
I let some in, others I don't.
If someone at Rank 6 is playing a meme deck, I'll concede and let them in.
If they are playing a Tier 1 deck, I will try my hardest to prevent them from getting in!
Nah I just play Hearthstone. Tbh no one wants to hit a rank floor for free anyway.
If you're in rank 5 and can't climb to legend. Then you have one job and that's to be the GATE GUARDIAN

All this megelomanic talk about "earning" a rank. A lot of players wants this golden epic for dust. Just let them :)
A lot of people want to get paid without having to go to work, too. But we don't call employers "megelomanics", though. ^_^
A lot of people take this game to seriously ^_^
