The best way, which is counter intuitive at first glance, actually works really well.
JUST DONT ATTACK OR GIVE THEM ANYTHING TO HEAL
For as long as u can, dont let them finish the Quest. That way u can always deal with their minions on board from getting out of hand.
Mossy Horror is also the MVP in alot matchups, especially vs Priest cuz one of their strategies is to keep their minions at 2 attack. I also had Hungry Crab andChief Inspector in my deck for the game shown, and I still won handily!!!!
Its a long crazy game about 30 turns, but well worth a glance if you want to see how it played out.
I mean, dont attack even with minions on board til;l u have plenty of pressure to do vs Priest ability to heal and keep up. Sorry for the poor grammar.
The game went to FATIGUE before I started attacking him!!!!
Not sure how effective this strategy is. Priests have plenty of healing options even if you never injure anything on their side of the board with Injured Tol'Vir, Blademasters and Stegotrons. There's also the option of simply healing your face once they get through your armor and given the value they gain in the long run, the occasional 2 face healing is irrelevant. Sure, not damaging anything may slow them down a bit but honestly, a priest with a good deck will get their quest done regardless of how you react.

well, if you took the time to watch the replay, I didn just that and won handily. didnt matter about all his rez's etc... i removed every minion he played before he could heal. and i never went face even with a board, so he could heal up . quest priest rely's on finishing the quest to win.
You played against a priest whos only source of healing his minions is his HP and Holy Nova and two Waterbearers who did nothing until turn 6 when he coined out a random Velen, You had Dr Boom on curve and since he had no healing from Circle or Hymn even when he had a board and optimal trading which he had a few times he could'nt even trade and then heal his board to complete his quest because he did'nt run any group healing apart from Nova........And yes you're going to have board control against a wall priest who is running zero copies off plague of death, You managed to beat a budget wall priest that ran zero plagues of death, Zero Hymns and zero Psychopomps, Control warrior is unfavored against that type of priest but then that type of priest cuts the cards that priest cut its hard to say that is a real wall priest.

LOL wow your sure determined to disagree with me. LOL anyways, the point is, the stratedgy is legit. It works. Ive done it more thatn once, against both Wall Priest, Wall quest Priest, and Quest Priest.

With respect, a sample size of one (ie: a replay) is statistically irrelevant.

p.s. Anytime you want a game, as Quest Priest vs my Warrior, let me know, and I will show you just how NOOB you really are!!!! lol
Explain where i was incorrect about his healing, I said his only source of healing his minions are his hero power, Nova and Waterbearer.........You named Zilliax, Radiance and Khartut Defender, You do realise they only heal his hero right?, So i named the only ways of healing his minions and you say i'm incorrect on that and go on to name 3 cards that........Only heal his hero as your argument on that?......Yeah not sure i would be calling someone else a noob when you dont seem to know the difference between cards that heal your hero and cards that heal your minions.

you didnt watch the game, cuz if u did, u would have seen how i didnt allow him to heal his minions or his hero. not until fatigue. thats the whole point. u missed it entirely, for that fact, your not worth my time.

Priest also had Chef Nomi by the way.
I am showing this off because Control Warrior is supposed to unfavored vs this type of Priest.

I usually lose to quest priest, they just outvalue me with all the resurrects and board clears, their quest is irrelevant.

I though I would share with you all, cuz I figured it out on the fly based on theorizing I do.
Try it out , it works!
oh, by the way, I also had dead cards in my deck and still won handily, Hungry CrabThe Black KnightChief InspectorMossy Horror
so take that and smoke it!! LOL
thx for your thoughts dude.

I know it has nothing to do with the topic, but why are you running that many tech cards? You're just making your deck worse.
too prove a point, that I can stil win them. plus, i make my own decks, and the meta be damned!! lol
I dont know why that player is trying so hard to disagree with you. Thanks for sharing OP.

Not really, it is very hard to complete quest against Warriors, on average I complete it around turn 15-16.
